Prompt: Wild sets off a trap and Legend gets him out of it

The others had told Wild that the Divine Beasts didn't count as real dungeons. He didn't agree, until he stepped on a greases pit trap, then he had to admit that maybe his experience didn't translate. Warriors had tried to play the hero, almost succeeded too, until he tipped over the edge and into the hole.

"Yelling's so passe," Warrior grins.

"They say if you work hard you'll get better pay," Warriors warbles, off-key. Wild joins in, somehow recognizing the tune. "We've heard all that before"

"I've got a ladder if you just shut up," Legend appears sooner than expected.

Blue is similar But he could stand to cool down Shadow's now a crone

Drabble 4

Prompt: Tears of the Kingdom Zelda is returned to Hylian form early, timed around the events of another game in the series (can be right before or in middle) and observes/interferes/interacts with the events of that game.

Zelda wakes up falling from the sky. She reels, emotionally and physically, and flails for nonexistent purchase as ground, or rather endless ocean, rises to meet her. She forces her lungs to resist the pressure of the wind, and takes a breath right before she hits the surface.

The impact brings nerve-shattering pain, but her instincts propel her upwards towards the light.

Then, there's nothing; just floating in the salt and pondering death, which she assumes will find her quickly, until hope arrives in the form of a boat that is, at minimum, half figurehead: The King of Red Lions.

Wind was a pirate He found freedom on the sea  Spirit could relate

Trains are the new boats  The proud engineer explained  Water becomes steam 

Flying down the rail I followed in your footsteps Endless adventure 

Wind, confused, nodded He didn’t want to seem dumb Boats still sound cooler

There is no music But the ghosts dance anyways Mother and father

Prompt: Someone else gets ahold of Twilight's shadow crystal. Shenanigans ensue

Shiny, temptation  Twilight should have hidden it  Wind’s deft fingers itch 

Magic radiates  This is not a deterrent  For a pickpocket 

Shadow climbs Wind’s arm  Mistakes have long since been made Pain twists and mangles

New feathers and wings  Wind reduced to his true form  Majestic seagull 

He shrieks, full of glee The rancher wakes in horror  Wind stretches his wings 

The new bird wobbles  He lifts! But is soon brought low Crashing into sand 

Twilight acts quickly Scooping up the reeling bird  “We need sky for this” 

The knight yet still sleeps  Despite the sailors chaos He’s slowly roused

Understanding fast He draws the cursebreaking sword  Restoring dear Wind 

“You guys are no fun” Complains the worn-out sailor  With chaos thwarted

Prompt: Cia kills Artemis, forcing Ganondorf and Warriors into an unlikely alliance to defeat her and regain their pieces of the Triforce so they can fulfill their destiny of killing one another in peace.

One-sided mourning Tempered by pragmatism Uneasy allies made

No power in hand Wisdom's light forever dark No courage in heart

Cia gained pieces three So fated feud is delayed Till birthright regained

Ganondorf rages while Link holds dry sorrow close Their purpose aligns

On the day Cia falls Ancient wounds will be rent fresh The cycle resumes

To friendships lasting Will not the gods bear witness The cycle consumes

Drabble 3

Prompt: The sense of adventure, of mystery and wonder, is deeply rooted within the Legend of Zelda. Ancient ruins, creepy dungeons and vast wilderness play a large role. Pick at any of these and explore it from a monster's point of view. Bonus: Link/ another person shows up.

The world has always been dark, the world has always been silent; but the world still dances. The earth speaks with a language of compression and violent oscillation. It's creatures whisper with subtle vibration.

Over the years you've listened through magma and rock, but now you're learning to listen to the water. It's a challenge, teasing out the secrets of waves as they bounce off the wooden pillars of your home. But the current source of them is bipedal. It flees as you rumble a greeting through the pounding of your arms on mud. Your lake is quiet once again.
