I'm sick and tired of these BLM posers and so-called 'do gooders' who go around trying to twist any normal moment into something they define 'racist'. My friend is a frontline worker for the NHS who I have grown up with. Today as she was leaving her shift with some fellow nurses. She entered a food shop to place her order. She was following the shop's social distancing procedures and waited her turn only to be asked by an employee to please leave the store. Apparently some people nearby with BLM posters had decided the staff were 'racist' for letting my white friend jump the queue just because they noticed there was a black family in line behind her. They became threatening, the police were involved and the staff were crouching behind the counter in fear of these people. My friend, her colleagues nor the shop workers were being racist and all parties involved were queueing like everyone else. It really saddens me that people are using this movement to film incidents like this on their phones just so they look 'good' and like they're helping to 'fight the fight' . I am disgusted that someone who has risked her life during this pandemic every day was targeted, filmed and vilified as a racist. It is heartbreaking! For anyone who find themselves witnessing a 'racist' incident then feel free to stand up for yourself or members of the community who are being discriminated against but please STOP creating your own racist incidents to simply validate and boost your sense of self-worth. You're the lowest of the low and you need to educate yourself! That's all I will say on this but I wanted everyone to know and be careful that there are people out there abusing this very important cause!

i understand that not everyone can donate rn even if they really wanted to. i myself am currently unemployed and cannot donate much more than i already have atm !! not donating is okay - pls don’t feel guilty if you do not have the means to do so.

if donating is not a possibility right now, ive found this 1 hour video you can watch on youtube where all proceeds from the ad revenue will go to an organization to help the cause (more info in the video’s description). op has compiled songs and art from Black artists to listen to. you can leave it on to play in the background or plug in earphones and go about your business as usual. it can’t get more simple than that.

as a fandom that’s known to mass stream, it would be amazing if you could channel that energy into watching this video !!!!!

I think it's easier than ever right now to feel the negativity and hatefulness of the world. It's hard to stay positive and upbeat but I am eternally grateful for my family and friends who I know are always there to cheer me up or just help me by existing whether in person or online. Thanks to all of you near and far. If you're struggling right now just remember that it's okay, we are facing something most of us have never dealt with before, you're not a failure you're just coping, managing, surviving and I hope your support systems are still there for you when things get tough. Stay safe everybody ❤️🙏
