I need to post the other 25 or so Inktober drawings I did to Tumblr and DA, but as these accounts are preeetty dead, assuming anyone who cares to see follows me on Twitter or Facebook.
Anyhoo, Inkvember beg- no seriously, not doing another month of that, but I had one last doodle in me. Delta Rune is really, really good for dropping out of nowhere, apropos of nothing and as I've had the battle music stuck in my head, I scribbled out Susie and Lancer.
Not many folk follow my tumblr, so I’ve been quite lax about posting daily, but I have been keeping up the Inktober dailies!
Third day of #inktober2018 with the #tonictober prompt of "Doggy Dayscare" - I wasn't sure where to go with this, so revisiting Monster Hunter World lately had me thinking of the Odogaron, aka everyone's favourite angry, skinless puppy.
Fourth day of #Inktober2018 with the #TonicTober prompt of "Baba Yaga". My take on the weirdo mythical crone - started unsure of direction, but I'm actually really happy with how this turned out.
Fifth day of #Inktober2018 with the #TonicTober prompt of "Potion Master". Wasn't sure what to do for this one, so used the bottle of ink and brush Mediatonic kindly handed out to do a little potion elemental. Just a small one today, but keeping it going!
Sixth day of #inktober2018 with the #TonicTober prompt of "Squid" and honestly, with a prompt like that did you think I wasn't going to shoehorn in some Splatoon? The Nintendo cephalopod family has come a long way.
Second day of #Inktober2018 with a #tonictober prompt of "Ghost". I have a grand ol' October tradition of drawing Halloween-y ghost Pokémon. This seemed as good an excuse as any to scribble a Gengar!
My place of work, game studio Mediatonic, got a list of everyone participating in Inktober to collate a ‘TonicTober’ list of prompts. They’ve also gotten us all a sketchbook and inks - basically been super supportive!
Don’t know if I’m going to manage the proper one per day, but fun prompts and I’m excited to take part. So here we are - the prompt for day 1 is “An ‘unusual’ tonic”.
Into the Breach has the hooks deep in my brain lately. It's very simple, but I really dig the visual style, so I wanted to scribble my take on a mech and a vek from the game - landed on the Flame Behemoths.
Quick Splatoon 2 scribble. Good guys, bad guys, these guys. I love the design and bizarro lore behind Judd and Li'l Judd.

Broke in a new sketchbook tonight with a few pics.
First up, more Octo Expansion fanart for Splatoon 2. Little sketch of C Q Cumber, the best little friend and subway conductor an Octoling could ask for (who sometimes messily explodes them).
Next up, a one eyed slugger. I love Yakuza but the regularly proportioned characters are somewhat out of my comfort zone. Took a shot at drawing Majima!
Lastly a Hollow Knight sketch. The game has atmosphere, music and visuals that struck me so much. I really need to get back to the game itself, but the lonely ambience to Dirtmouth blew me away. Had to scribble a little tribute.
**MILD OCTO EXPANSION SPOILERS FOR A VERY COOL MOMENT IN THE SPLATOON 2 DLC**
This moment in the context of the endgame sequence had me grinning ear to ear - I had to scribble a messy little something in tribute. Such a cool throwback to the first game and great character moment for Pearl.
Been a long while since I drew anything, so just derusting with some quick scribbles. Splatoon 2's new music rekindled my love of the fictional bands behind the game soundtrack, so doodled both ends of the DJ slider, from peppy ABXY to emo Dedf1sh
I've played enough Splatoon 2 that I thought it was time for another fanart scribble. Steelheads in Salmon Run are jerks. Been a while since I last posted any sketches and hoo boy, I'm a tad rusty.
Kicked off the end of year break with a quick scribble of Omega-3. Splatoon 2’s fictional fish bands are my jam.
There have been many, many good video games this year inbetween copious amounts of Splatoon 2. One that ticked allll the right boxes was Cuphead.
Started this off the back of finishing the game last month, got back to finishing it off last night.

The way the Guardians move and their weird music in Breath of the Wild made them too enticing, so of course I wore their armour.

There are few things as invigorating as landing a bomb down a Maws gullet at the last second.
