(a many eyed thing walks up to you clutching a knife with eyes engraved along it’s side they don’t seem like they are all there mentally)

[The creature peeks its head above the water slightly, letting out a low, rumbling noise as it inspects the intruder. However, it seems to quickly lose interest, and dives back down, moving surprisingly quietly for something this large.]
[Perhaps it's simply not hungry enough to investigate further... Or it's choosing to lay low and wait.]
