It could be in the palms of your hands,
You still won’t be able to grasp it,
If it’s not written for you.

It could be in the palms of your hands,
You still won’t be able to grasp it,
If it’s not written for you.
It will never be the same,
But it will be good,
You never find the same love twice,
It’s okay because our love was for us,
I wouldn’t change it,
I wouldn’t want it with anyone else,
And I will always be grateful,
I might not find the same comfort again,
But I will find comfort,
That comfort was for us,
And I will always be grateful.
For the space in my heart,
That is occupied with you.
I asked god to make my life easy,
Instead of asking for strength,
I asked god to heal me,
Show me a life of eternity,
God gave me the purest love,
Then he tainted our dream,
I’m not sure the purpose,
Except that life is a circus,
We all put on our best show,
To make people love us,
Maybe that’s why god did this,
To stop me from running,
To love without judgement,
To love after I’ve let go,
The circus travels in circles,
After all,
One day I’ll be back and things won’t be the same,
But I’ll still love you, without purpose.
love doesn’t start and end the same,
it hurts when you say my name,
I want to hear it again,
It hurts but I can’t hear the pain,
my hearts been numbed by my brain,
If I pray for you every day from a far,
Is it as good as giving you my heart,
prayers come from my soul,
And my heart is for this world,
So I’m hoping,
We’re eternal when it’s cold,
I’d rather die than live without hope.
Jeff Latosik, from “On the General Being of Lostness"
you once told me ,
tears were not made for me,
because those eyes were only for joy,
and what is your response now,
when you have become a lover to absence,
tell me, isn't time for these eyes
to be sad after they no longer see you

Translucent,
I’d rather observe,
Luminescent,
Like light curves,
Afraid I won’t emerge,
Lone stars subserve,
Existing for a purpose,
to die forlorn.
Some people aren’t meant to be saved.
If I had one wish,
I wish nobody would remember me,
Is it selfish to want to leave peacefully.
Impulsive pleasures,
Reckless behaviours,
Social trend setters,
Our temporary world,
And it’s true colours,
Life is long but in the end it’s short,
Our world so vast but in the end so small,
To achieve greatness without recognition,
To deny society the chance of being reality,
To live a life of meaning without validity.
I ruin everything I touch,
I burden everyone when i speak,
I give out what I take in,
What I take in is what I’m made of,
And what I’m made of isn’t nice,
Why do I still try,
To be something other than that,
Other than what I am.
Translucent,
I’d rather observe,
Luminescent,
Like light curves,
Afraid I won’t emerge,
Lone stars subserve,
Existing for a purpose,
to die forlorn.
If living means dying,
Does loving leave us lonely,
More than before,
To have loved than never loved at all,
Why climb a mountain just to fall,
Because the view takes our breath away,
Or because the air is rich and crisp,
And for a moment everything feels worth it,
To have that feeling once,
And crave the high for the rest of your life,
Or to experience what it’s like to be happy,
Even if it was only a moment.
I hope you felt it.
We’ll talk for hours and lay on the backseat
And then one faithful night when everything changes
You won’t reply,
And we’ll go back to strangers.
I gave you my love,
The love that was given to me,
What I wanted to give you,
Was the love I wanted to give to me.
You loved me when I was a monster,
And you made my heart softer,
So I cling on to our memories,
In the hopes that they’ll heal me.
