Marital Status: Divorced; Single

History:

Was married once before bit is now divorced, she and her ex-Husband broke it off mutually due to the complications of her not being able to have kids and other marital issues. It's very hard hard to get Rita pregnant, she is suspected to be infertile due to a complicated miscarriage she had as a teenager. (She was 19 years old during the time of the pregnancy)She was in a car accident which lead to her miscarriage after a hit and run driver T-Boned her car.

Rita was more adventurous then Lori was in her teens which resulted in her getting pregnant by a high school boyfriend at the end of her High School days. It's a known fact in Lori and Rida's family that almost all the female have complications with giving birth or getting pregnant, hence Lori needing a C Section with Carl.

Before the outbreak happened Rita lived a normal single life as a General Manager at a 'Big Spot' retail store. She at home during the time of the outbreak. Once everything hit the fan she tried desperately to call Lori to see if her and Carl were okay. Since then she has been searching for Lori and Carl to see if they are safe. They are everything to her, they are all she has.
