Okay.

So...what I think I'm going to do is this:

I'm going to make a new blog for Phanny. However, that does NOT mean that this blog will go away.

This blog will become an archive for all my past posts, so anyone who wants to read my past posts still can. Y'know, for continuity purposes if I'm going to continue a relationship with anyone on my new account.

Meanwhile, I will wipe the slate clean by creating a new blog for Phanny. Anyone who would still like to keep a relationship with Phanny is going to have to message me on my new blog. I'm considering crossing over some threads I have on this blog to my new blog, but not with all of my posts.

What will most likely happen is that either me or you will have to create a starter in order for our muses to interact once again. However, I will not continue a relationship with everyone.

To prevent this mess from happening again, I will no longer accept anyone and everyone to keep a relationship with my muse. Just please, please ask me if you want to interact, and I will decide if our muses should interact on my new blog.

For those I do want to interact with, we can either wipe the slate clean and start out relationship anew, or we can continue where we left off. 

It's just REALLY important to ASK me. Ok?

By the way, this blog isn't going up today. It will probably be fully operational by tomorrow. I will keep you posted and post the link to my new blog when it's ready.

The mente - a kind of overcoat - was a typical piece of the Hungarian noblemen’s outfit worn over the dolman in the 16th-17th century. The mente surviving in the Esterházy collection was probably worn by a boy at the age of about 10 years. The cut adopts the pattern of Turkish kaftans. At the hips it is widened by inserts. The long sleeves (“pipe-sleeves”) reaching down to the bottom of the garment are only for decoration; the arms were stuck through the openings at the shoulders. There is a broad turned-down collar.

The fabric is one of the most finely and proportionately patterned specimens of the most expensive Turkish court silk lampas fabrics (kemha) interwoven with gold and silver threads. The pattern is in the 75 “four-flower” style typical of the Turkish cloths of the period, comprising lines of mandorlas including carnation, rose, tulip and lotus flower. The child’s mente was probably retailored from another garment, as the collar of several pieces and the slightly askance direction of the pattern on the back suggest. Sources reveal that using clothes of valuable fabrics - this time perhaps a Turkish gala kaftan (hil’at) received as a gift - were used for skirts, mente lining, children’s attire or ecclesiastic vestments. Tradition has it that the mente was worn by archbishop of Esztergom Miklós Olah (1493-1568), but recent researches prove that the fabric was produced in the second half of the 16th century the earliest, so the archbishop could not wear it in his childhood. It was probably to enhance the magnificence of the family that the Esterházy’s associated the garment with this notable personage of the past.

Hey guys.

I'm sorry I haven't been on much lately.

To be completely honest, I feel like I'm already losing my character.

I do like a lot of the character development he's gotten, and I do like some of the relationships that he's made...but I think I'm losing him because there's just been too many instances where I've been made to go completely OOC, and it's happened so many times that I've just lost interest in Phanny, as awful as it is for me to say.

When I started this blog, I thought I was going to ensure that if the Phantom had any ships at all (romance or friendship alike), they would be very well-developed and would take a very long time for me to actually ship them. 

And some of the relationships I really like! I looove Elsie, as she's been a feature on my blog since the beginning and has gotten some real character development out of Phanny; any relationship I've developed with a Christine Daae has always turned out p nice too, and theenglish-professor-fromchicago/Phanny is one of my favorite ships. I also really like the rivalry I have with Gaston, and you guys know I love the relationship with Ghost Host even if Phanny hates him.

But there are plenty of other relationships that I feel have taken over my blog and have made my character really OOC most of the time, and no matter what I've tried to do to keep my muse in-character, I feel like those relationships have warped Phanny into something that I know he's not.

Phanny now has more ships (romance) than I can count, and at least 5 children that are either his or he's adopted. "Ghost sperm" has even become a thing on my blog because he's had sexytimes so many times. I never intended for him to even have one child because he's a ghost. Adopted, sure, but biological?

To make matters worse, the relationships that are making my character act OOC have been so dominant on my blog that I know some consider them my main relationships, even though they most definitely are not because every relationship I have that doesn't comply with the main canon is an AU.

It will never be the fault of the other blogs that I have the ship with; if anything, it's my fault that I let these relationships become so dominant. I let my character go OOC, and as a result I've lost interest.

I don't really know what to do anymore. I really want to delete the relationships I feel are destroying my character, and yet I don't want to single out only certain blogs and let others continue whatever relationship they have with Phanny. I also don't want to delete all of my relationships, because I feel like I will delete a ton of character development too.

I'm very sorry if I seem like I'm whining, but I just really wanted to get this off of my chest and let my followers know why I haven't been as active lately.
