No matter what kind of makeup you do, it’s important to ask yourself why you’re doing it. Makeup should make you feel powerful. It should help you express something. It should make you feel good for yourself, not for others. Even simple looking makeup can be so strong when using it to empower. Makeup is an ART. It is not a requirement for beauty. It can be used as insight into yourself and into current society. Be aware of what affect you have and what you’re letting affect you. Do not let trends and simple thinking limit your creativity.
