Dear Tik Tok Lifters,
I have recently joined a discord server with a lot of Tik Tok lifters. This surprised me since I got the link from Peach. The liftblr community has often shit on Tik Tok lifters, or "borrowers" in the past. The reason for this is that this community on liftblr has been pretty small and secretive for awhile now, and seeing people openly expose some of our techniques on a public and very popular platform for anyone to see, feels dangerous to us. Loss prevention people can, will, and do see these Tik Toks. Most Tik Tok lifters are also very new to the game, 6 months in or less. I have been lifting for over 4 years, I've only been caught once. I've been a member of the liftblr community for all that time. Therefore I think I have a little seniority and experience to be talking about these things. First order of business:
Tik Tok is NOT safe. It's much more exposed than the liftblr community. In fact, it's almost impossible to simply "stumble upon" the liftblr community in the way that a lot of people are when it comes to borrowing Tik Tok. Liftblr has actually been actively working against borrowing Tik Tok for this reason and others, but it seems we have failed. Please do not start a borrowing Tik Tok, and if you have one, delete it. Make a blog here, it's safer.
There is SO MUCH misinformation on borrowing Tik Tok. I've seen things on there that make me want to scream, like one video telling people that Target is an easy store. If you've been on liftblr you'd know that Target is one of the harder stores, their LP is crazy, and beginners should absolutely not be told that Target is some kind of free for all. Liftblr is years ahead of borrowing Tik Tok, there are countless posts with tips on specific stores, caught stories, etc etc. It's a wealth of information that has been proven accurate over time by all of us.
These are the two main reasons that borrowing Tik Tok is just Not It for lifters. I am really excited about the influx of interest in lifting and maybe welcoming more people into our community, which has been on the decline since 2017 or so. But please heed my warnings, new lifters, we've been around for years and Tik Tok is just not a safe platform to be discussing this stuff on.
If you're going to join the Liftblr community, here are the ground rules
DO NOT expose us on Tik Tok. We don't need an influx of trolls and loss prevention over here.
DO NOT use tags. No hashtag shoplifting, hashtag borrowing, hashtag whatever. The fact that we don't use tags makes us harder to find, which is a GOOD thing.
Research first. Do your research on liftblr before you get out in the field. It's a beautiful rabbit hole to fall down, and all the research I did was why I avoided being caught for so long.
This is just the basics. I'm glad to see people from Tik Tok coming over to liftblr because that means they are now getting their information from a more reliable source, and being active in a safer and more private setting. But please, Tik Tok is not it. Join liftblr instead.
this!!!!!
could not agree more!!!
repost so it’s in the community

Yep and hello kitty knows wear a mask 💜
just a friendly reminder to please wear a mask while łifting!! there are plenty of stores where you can łift cute masks, and a lot of stores now require them for entry. also remember to sanitize your hands often while at the mall, and wash your hands with soap and water as soon as you get home. covid-19 is still out there folks, stay safe❤️
bruhhhh phone broke so i havent been active but im still here. LIFTED SO MUCH SHIT!!!
I HAD TO LAUGH
How to get the most out of your food hauls
Since I do a lot of food hauls I learned a lot about durability and what you should lift first so that you can get a baseline set of ingredients in your pantry🍑
🍒Lift seasonings! There will come a time when all the lifted food you get needs to be cooked and it’s going to taste bland.
🍑Lift canned foods and frozen vegetables and fruits! These will last you forever! Buying fresh food is always better but you’ll need to do that every week. Bulking up in this will make sure you’ll always have a stocked fridge even if you run out of fresh food.
🍒 Lift things that last a long time in your household, whether it’s orange juice or milk, you’ll want products you can actually enjoy but won’t go through super fast.
🍑 Stay away from foods in the inner section of the market, these tend to be junk. Do not lift junk to fill your pantry!!!!! It is NOT filling and will fly out of your shelves! do this after you have your pantry full!
🍒 Try and lift difficult items in bulk, if you can’t really lift cereal, then go one day extra and get more of them all at once! This saves the hassle of you stressing every week for one box when you take the extra day to get a couple in one hit!
🍑 Lift INGREDIENTS! Not already prepared food! This is always the freshest and cheapest option as well as healthiest! You’re not going to eat a head of lettuce with nothing else! You’re going to put it in broths and salads and sandwiches! If you want pasta then lift the individual ingredients like the pasta shells, tomatoes, tomatoes paste that sort of thing. It’s smarter then lifting a $10 premade item that’s only one serving for one person.
🍒Lift soups! Please lift soups if you struggle keeping food in the house! You can lift these and make little sandwiches for dinner and bam you’ve had a filling meal! They are also really small and not heavy! And they last a long time! PLEASE STOCK OF CANNED FOODS!
🍑If you’re going to lift fresh foods like me then please know WHEN you’re going to eat them. If I know I’m going to eat 3 avocados in 3 days I’ll lift 3 FRESH ones. After if I eat avocados for the rest of the week (4 more days) I’ll lift 4 unripe ones. That way by the time I do eat them they will have ripened and not spoiled! Some fruits and veggies spoil in the fridge so please google the specific food item you’re looking for so they don’t go to waste!
That is it my lovelies💖💖💖 I hope I helped even a tiny bit! I see a lot of us on here struggling to eat and I wanted to give some tips on how to make the most out of it! I use reusable bags and the walkout method! If this is your only means of food then please switch grocery stores often! As well as times you go by! 💖💖💖 LOVE YOU, STAY SAFE!
please lift the mf seasoning no ❌ flavorless❌ food❌ allowed❌ here❌
Why this matters💖
I used to be cold every morning, I used to have a thin blanket as my comforter and the same five outfits with zero makeup and one body spray and deodorant, today I just woke up covered in my lifted bedspreads with my head on my lifted pillows, sat down at my desk and put dry shampoo in my hair instead of leaving it oily, elegantly put lifted makeup on, applied a lifted deodorant and body spray all while getting changed into lifted leggings, socks and a winter jacket. There is NOTHING different about my social status between these two point in my life. My mom still makes no money and I still don’t have a steady job. I am happier, I am happier, I am happier with lifted things to make me feel like a person.
I am clean, I have makeup, I have a nice room, I have the school supplies I need, I have perfumes and lotions galore. If you told me that I’d have this much when I was 14 I’d laugh. Lifting changes my life. The confidence I now have is astonishing. So now catch my modeling down my schools walk way with my new $250 coat!
💖💖💖YOURE WORTH IT💖💖💖
❤️❤️
Treat yourself ❤️
I feel this so much ❤️ being in debt for a long time made me feel worthless and using/wearing nice things helps with my confidence and mental wellbeing. I didn’t have any nice clothes anymore and I had one pair of shoes that wasn’t gonna last long anymore. Now I need an actual closet for my clothes and I have 3 pairs of brand new, comfortable and waterproof shoes :) having wet feet when it rains really sucks lol
I was homeless and living in my car for a period of time. I washed my hair in public bathroom sinks with lifted shampoo and conditioner. i ate lifted food. i used lifted makeup and did my face up using the little mirror over the front seat of my car. i wore lifted clothes and shoes. i wore lifted chapstick, deoderant, and perfume. i used a lifted hairbrush, lifted toothbrush, and lifted toothpaste every night.
during the worst time of my life, lifting allowed me to still feel beautiful.
Haven’t lifted in a hot minute due to school but when I did it was because my mom does not make a lot of money. We consistently struggle. Lifting allowed me to get us both some nice, simple things we deserved. Oh ma you had a bad day? Surprise chocolate you’ve always wanted to try! I had a rough week? I am grabbing that loose highlighter from target or some shit and concealing. I deserve nice things. My mother deserves nice things.
This was my old blog Incase anybody wants to see more posts like this. I LOVE YOU GUYS💖
what a great thread :)
i love this
tip
for stores that you go to often, make note of any LP you see/notice and even sa’s so that it’s easier to know who to look out for/avoid when you go the next time. at least mentally but even better, on your phone or something, put a physical description ex “blonde lady with short hair and glasses” or “tall man with dark hair and short beard”. for example there’s this one sa I encountered at tj maxx who was really uptight about counting when I went into the fitting room so I made note of what she looked like so I know to avoid her in the future.
this is smart!! i keep a list of info about specific stores on my phone (#/placement of cams, whether SAs are super attentive, etc) but i totally forgot about this lmao
absolutely!! i’d also like to add a few more things you should take notes on:
jot down which store locations tag and what kinds they use (including RFIDs). sometimes, the same chain of stores will vary in tagging methods depending on location and theft level in the area. for example, if you’re used to lïftïng at a suburban wäłmárt, going a wâłmãrt in the city could be a challenge if you aren’t versed in their level of security. it’s likely to be much higher, so take notes and be prepared for next time!
take notes of what customers are wearing in places you plan on lïftíñg from. you always want to blend in. your clothes, makeup, hair, etc really matter - especially in higher end shops or malls. emulate the styles of regular shoppers, depending on the kind of store and general demographics. if you look like someone who shouldn’t be shopping in a certain store, you’re bound to be sussed.
*maybe controversial?* another thing you may want to note is the demographic of employees working in a certain location. it may seem odd, but keep in mind that you may be singled out and sussed simply because there’s a bias working against you depending on who’s working. are they old? young? POC? white/white passing? majority female/male presenting? unfortunately, many sa’s/lp/employees will stereotype, make assumptions, or profile - despite what they’d like to claim. i say this as a non-white passing POC who’s had to keep in mind her place in society, as well as her privilege, in regards to her lïftîng carrer. when you pay attention to the demographics of store employees, it can help you predict how difficult your personal lïftīng experience is going to be in the context of your own social cleavages.
ultimately, even small details about various locations can help you out. did a certain store location ask for your name and item count at a dressing room while other stores of the same brand just haphazardly throw your clothes in? jot it down. maybe the SA took the items out of your hand to hang in the dressing room for you. write that down too. with details like these, you may begin to notice a pattern. are you being sussed or are you in a high theft area? you can write all of that down and keep it in your back pocket to avoid as many mistakes as possible.
This girl at Lush was about to wash my hands and asked me if I was allergic to anything and LITERALLY WITHOUT HESITATION I said “bullshit.” She laughed for 10 minutes. Then I stole a sex bomb.
