So my friend who i got i to the magicians, the other day messaged me and pointed out somthing i had never realised that was so subtle and yet poinent. Q loves fillory more than anything at this point of the season still. He’s holding a version of fillory and futher in this scene but he drops it to give Eliot a hug. Q literally discards the one thing he loves more than anything to hug Eliot. Eliot ment more to Q than fillory ever did, even at this point, so let that sink in and have a good cry ‘bout that 🥺
