i am genuinely so glad you asked. the world’s most hated crew aka xWMHCx is a clique of scenesters tangental to the MCR/FBR scene in 2006 which formed in response to being generally disliked by fans and commenters on bandom message boards.
alicia pain aka alicia simmons way
alicia started off as a roadie/merch girl and later tech who toured with basically every band in the emo/warped scene at the time, most notably fall out boy where she (allegedly) got pretty cozy with pete wentz
what she’s probably most well known for is dating/marrying/divorcing mikey way.
hey chris aka deadxstop aka chris gutierrez
chris came up in the chicago straightedge hardcore scene alongside pete and co. and played bass in arma angelus with the future fall out boy members. After fall out boy sold out for the first time by forming fall out boy in 2001, chris stuck around as a merch boy/muse. most notably, he is the subject of the song “grenade jumper”, the “hey chris” that was their only friend. he and pete had a falling out haha in 2006 over an ex and he eventually he started pursuing blogging, writing, and public speaking (?) full time. He presumably was friends with alicia from early fob days but also soon became close with pete’s ex mikey way which allegedly caused drama.
chris was also accused of being involved in leaking pete’s infamous dick pic but he vehemently denies it.
eliza Cuts aka e.cutz aka eliza bleu aka eliza siep
eliza was a hair stylist in chicago with chris and eventually became my chemical romance’s official tbp tour hair stylist, which i guess is a thing you need if you are touring for 2 years straight. she and gerard also dated and the fans hated her as fans are prone to hate any significant other deemed undeserving. she and gerard apparently had a bad breakup due to her cheating on him? and then even more drama ensued. she also went on to write out the story of her and gerard’s relationship on myspace in the form of “fiction” where she called themselves emma and paul. very sneaky eliza.
moving on to the less controversial wmhc members, miss e worked somewhat nebulously in the music industry for a long time, possibly for warner brothers? she was good friends with the wmhc girlsquad. no word on why she was hated other than the fact that she knew and worked with bands and hung out with alicia and eliza.
sarah dope aka sarah suvan
sarah was also in the industry scene and was sometimes a photographer. best friends with alicia.
sorry to this (wo)man. but honestly i don’t know anything about meghan mayhem or what her real name is BUT i do know that she was kicked out of wmhc in june 2007 after an anonymous letter surfaced that basically dragged eliza within an inch of her life after her tumultuous breakup with gerard. coincidence??
these people do not get the distinction of being the most hated in the world but they are friends with those who are!!
angie gogo aka angela mach
angie seemed to be good friends with sarah and alicia and for some reasons did a lot of bizarre boudoir photoshoots with them. who knows. she’s very successful now.
yes, jeffree star the former scene king turned current scene king. do i need to explain this one.
so basically the original crew- alicia, eliza, chris, sarah, meghan and miss e- were all traveling in the same circles in the mcr/fueled by ramen scene and noticing that they were getting a lot of shit on message boards and fan sites so they decided to embrace it and throw some more fuel on the fire by giving their clique a name and starting a website.
World’s Most Hated - We’re not just one of those rap guy’s girlfriends!
In 2006, a small group of friends earned the nickname “World’s Most Hated Crew” because of the attention given to them by rock fans for all the wrong reasons. The talents and accomplishments of WMHC quickly became overshadowed by the names of the people they knew. Instead of falling back into gossip-column-land, the friends decided to band together and create a website that showcased their talents and gave something of worth back to the fans that so loved (and loathed) them.

there was also some overlap between wmhc and the birdboys and black bunnies
