–{~;★;~}– The white-winged angel winced slightly at Dark Pit’s sigh, which felt burdening to him. Did he give off a bad impression of himself? Maybe it was because being out of his helmet and such gave him a path to out of his comfort zone. “Sorry about that. I’m just not particularly comfortable with that particular topic..” he mumbled, covering his face with his left hand. He let his hand drop to his side when he heard the other angel laugh. He gave off a halfhearted laugh, “Can’t help it. It happened right in front of me.”
Venom blinked a few times, the angel before him had told him not to ask if he remembered. Besides, he wasn’t up for a super long story either. He shook his head, “Nothing at all.” He fiddled around with his fingers as he spoke. Okay, maybe he was.. but he didn’t want to ask at this right moment. He furrowed his eyebrows a bit, was Dark Pit either trying to stall him or thought he was suspicious? Really, he wasn’t thinking of doing anything at all.. nothing sinister, that’s all. “Why do you think so? I’m not planning anything evil or such..” Whoops. It was a bad idea to say that.. because… Dark Pit may have gotten more suspicious about him.
He raised an eyebrow as he stared at the other angel, who had his eyes closed. This angel kid was odd, he’d got to say. He put his hands on his hips and looked at the dark angel with his crystal blue orbs. “What are you doing?”
“Er..” Dark Pit scowled and scratched his head, looking away when the other clearly meant his action. He probably did look pretty ridiculous, huh. “Uh, nothing.. Just had to make sure you weren’t doing anything I should worry about.” He took a moment to look to the sky, frowning some more. “Not like it necessarily MY job to do so..” He murmured to himself, obviously picking at someone in particular.
With a tilt of his head he continued. “But still. Rather know what’s going on if I’m the one in he middle of it. How do I..” He was going to ask how he knew he could trust the other angel, but they had already made light conversation. That certainly helped the Dark Pit ease up. “Never mind. I just wanna be sure, that’s all.” Trying not to sound too desperate, Dark Pit changed his tone into a more nonchalant way. “If you need something, I could help, but I mean.. You can do whatever. I don’t see a threat in you so. Why not?” He raised his arms and placed his hands behind his head, turning away from the other. “Guess I should leave you to it.” His eyes darted to the sky once more before closing.
Should he leave him on his own? With that armor, Venom clearly was capable of defending himself, so there was no real danger. No, it seems that Dark Pit just wanted someone to talk to, judging by his slow departure from the platform. If only he would open his eyes and stop trying to act cool, then the dark angel could have kept himself from plummeting off the floating platform. “Wh--” His eyes flashed open, greeting him with the clear area below him.
