“I really hate gift giving...” he confessed with a soft purr in his voice. “I have no idea how you find the nerves to personally chose whatever for... anyone. Knowing your pink and sweet temper.” Cal added sarcastically.

“Rules are meant to be broken.” Ben frowned. “The whole can’t fly in an airplane or go on the boat “rule” is nonsense. That’s like saying your soul can’t come to the underworld because you are a child of Zeus.”
Cal’s eyes drowned in soft blue as he studied Ben’s features. “Not these rules I’m afraid. But when I do reach the end of my life, I’m sure Hades will gladly take my soul. Who knows, maybe I’ll reach Elysium...”

“Well... Rest in peace cabin 7, I guess.” Cal mumbled jokingly, looking at Dia. “Who stepped on your pinkie and made you the Grinch anyway? Has something happened?”

“That’s not how it works. My Dad is not someone I can just pick up the phone and give a call. You’ll have better luck asking a Hermes kid.”
“It was a joke. I have no intentions on contacting your dad.” Cal sighed in amusement and took out his lightning bolt trinket. “It’s a rule. For example you can’t fly in an airplane or swim, cause of my father and Poseidon.”

“Well I am known for saying morbid threats, so kinda.” Elsie brushed her hair back. Raising an eyebrow, she nudged him slightly. “Ass. You know fine well The Force would only have balanced out, not being disturbed by my return.” She retorted.
“Yeah? Cause I don’t think balance is a long termed thing.” Cal countered. “That’s why your mom exists. So do you and your half-siblings. And then there are your favorite Big Three princes and princesses that just love to fuck around with the balance.”

“You’ll tell me if something is wrong, right? Or if you wanted to sleep?” Jamie breathed out, looking into Caleb’s eyes with a rather serious expression. “Well, I guess we’re going to be up the whole time. I feel weird coming over here and just sleeping all over you.”
“Depends on your mood. You know I’m always ready to rock your world...” Cal suggested. And though it came out as a soft joke, it was true. “You need to stop thinking about whatever’s keeping you awake and torturing your mind.”

“No, I meant that I’m much more intimidating than you.” She teased, smiling at him. “Dude, you honestly think I’d be someone to tell you what to do? I find it the twitch amusing; plus seeing you worked up is slightly entertaining to watch.” Her white smiled shined against her red lips. “I’ve been pretty good, but much better now that I’m back. I did miss being home here.”
“Yeah, you’re such a monster...” he added sarcastically and crossed his arms in front of his chest. His face cracked into a charming smile shortly after that, though. “Home missed you, too. I felt a disturbance in The Force when you came back.”

Jamie allowed himself to get enveloped by Caleb, letting out a satisfied noise as he willed himself to stop worrying and just relax. At least, with the son of Zeus, he knew he had nothing to worry about. He was safe. He always felt safe in Caleb’s arms. “But what about you?”
“I’ll be okay, I promise, Jamie...” Cal said quietly and pressed a warm kiss on his cheek. Keeping his lips there for just a few seconds, he traced a a line across Jamie’s jaw. “I don’t need to sleep when I have you around.” he said as he pulled away and smiled.”

Jamie just made his way to Caleb, dropping his pillow and blanket before getting on the bed. “I’m tired but I can’t fall asleep. I don’t know why.” He said softly, lying down on the bed, close enough so he could rest his head on the other’s shoulder.
Cal sighed and gently wrapped his arm arms around him, pulling Jamie into a warm embrace. Gods, just the thought of him was able to destroy everything the son of Zeus was. “It’s okay...” he whispered, pressing his lips against Jamie’s head. “We can stay up if you want to.”

Jamie hugged his pillow tighter, holding onto his blanket firmly. He walked to where Caleb was, standing near the doorway first. “I just couldn’t sleep.” The son of Morpheus mumbled, the usual dark circles around his eyes were more noticeable even in the darkness.
It’s been a long time since he last saw Jamie like that. The feelings he had towards him were hard to hide, so he gave that up a long time ago... “Come on here and tell me all about it.” he slid aside, making enough space for him on the bed. “I love when you fall asleep in my arms.”

“Oh Caleb. I’m sure they’d be more terrified of me than you if there was a next time.” Elsie smirked at the older demigod as she stood up from her chair. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen that twitch of annoyance coming from your eyebrow.” She jested.
“Aw... Is that your way of telling me you love me?” he teased her and arched his brow. His smirk was one of a kind and it could tell everything, but he still preferred to use his word. “Oh? So... I can’t get annoyed every once in a while? Or am I just known as the stone cold camp’s wh-” He bit the inside of his cheek, sensing he was starting to gibber a lot. “So how have you been, Elsie?”

Jamie dragged his blanket and pillow to the Zeus cabin, looking haggard since he hasn’t slept in days. He’s been having bad dreams, and the only person he could think of that could be awake would be Caleb. Making his way to the cabin, he knocked on the door first before entering. “Caleb…?”

“In here.” Caleb could always feel something’s not okay with Jamie when he’s looking for him in the middle of the night. Luckily the son of Zeus had some trouble sleeping himself, so a candle in his room was still flickering. Laying on his bed he turned towards the door. “What’s going on?”

“Well that sure was embarrassing of you.” Elsie smirked from the chair on the porch of her cabin, staring at the person who tripped in an hilarious manner. “Better watch your step next time dearie.”
There was clearly someone trying to make him look bad and clumsy by using their powers, but Caleb was way over pranks like that. “Thanks for the heads up...” he mumbled, while turning his gaze at the girl. “For whoever’s sake I hope there’s no next time.”

“I was in a quest during the holidays. I got back after new year but I stayed in the city instead. I recently got back from LA because I was with Danny Martin on his tour.” Jamie started explaining, holding onto Caleb’s hands and squeezing them. “Now are you going to let me in or what?”
“Oh, my hero...” Cal smirked and stepped aside, so Jamie can enter. “Seems like you had a busy couple of months... Sounds great. I was home helping mom with everything so she can do her studies.”

Jamie stopped as he looked at Caleb, a grin appearing on his face. “Hey, yourself.” He answered back, slinging the guitar further up his shoulder while he walked towards him. Stepping up in front of the son of Zeus, he pressed a kiss on his cheek. “I’d love to.”
Cal leaned further against the kiss, enjoying every second of it. “Where have you been anyway?” he asked, reaching for Jamie’s hands with a smile. He really missed him.

Jamie started wandering around camp, just because he was already bored inside his cabin. Being in the cabin messed with his powers; the more he was in it, the more he could feel the lingering dreams of the other demigods. With his guitar on the other hand, the son of Morpheus started looking for a place where he could be alone and play the instrument without bothering anyone.

“Hey, stranger...” Cal mumbled, leaned against his cabin’s door. Him and Jamie kind of... drifted apart over the last year and he wasn’t happy about it. Remembering any little detail of their shared moments - be good and the bad - he pushed himself off and stepped closet. “Wanna play for me?”

“It’ll literally take me a year to explain it to you and by then I’m sure you’ll lose your shit and try and beat me up.” Cal said jokingly, though it wasn’t entirely a lie.
