Kit kept Brooke’s face cupped in his hand, watching her reaction. A playful smile crossed his lips. “I told you, I was curious.” He shrugged. “Was that okay?” He asked after a moment.

“So this is all that it was: curiosity?” she had to ask to be sure. “Ham... yeah, it’s okay.” a little laugh came to her mouth, she couldn’t help. “I just... was not expecting that.”

Your apartment is huge. Like…it’s a lot bigger than mine.

“I think I was in a ‘spoiled vibe’ when I got this place. You know, you don’t say no to your dad when he says “I bought a college present for you, here is your apartment” My reaction was like “Whaaaaat???’” Brooke told her, laughing.

“Sometimes I still go to Blake’s, but I live on my own, so I miss these things.” she said sitting on the bad “Look to this apartment, it’s huge! I feel really lonely in here” she added with a laugh

Kit shrugged, “I like the curiosity.” He mused and cupped her cheek with one hand before pressing their lips together. His kiss was soft and slow before breaking away, “Just how I imagined it.”

Wow. Brooke was definitely not expecting that. She may have teased a little bit, but it was all a joke! Nothing she hadn’t done before. Kit was always saying those bunch of compliments, but never in a serious way! At least Brooke thought it wasn’t... She didn’t push him away, but also didn’t know how to react. “Kit... What....?” it was all she could say.

Sign the damn papers and end this!” Britta angrily yelled into the phone, her usually peaceful facade broken for a second, before she realized that she had spoken a little too loud. “Uh…sorry. Sometimes my busniess calls get a little heated.” She lied to the person near her, trying to save face.

“Uhum, business call, of course I believe that.” Brooke said ironically, trying to avoid a laugh. “Britta, I learned how to recognize a business call when I was like 5 years old, and that was definitely not one. What happened?” she asked, worried.
