15!!!!
15. recommend and review a book. ooh this is fun. i recently read the passion by jeanette winterson and loved it. it has two pov characters who are brought together by unlikely circumstances. one is a young soldier in napoleon's army whose primary role is to serve chicken to napoleon and who is led by his devotion to napoleon himself. the other is the daughter of a venetian boatman who, like the sons but unlike the daughters of all venetian boatmen, is born with webbed feet, who crossdresses and meets interesting clients working at the casino. the prose is really beautiful and entertaining and had me hooked in the first few sentences. it also made me fall so in love with its version of venice
