I havent read the event but from what i heard the choking her was fake and part of the play and i just saw jokes floating around of "imagine being Nene and Tsukasas been forcing himself to imagine killing people for the past few days and you still have to trust him to fake choke you on stage"

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how well approached Tsukasa's 'glass child' writing is? A lot of media loves to highlight neglect in siblings that boils into resentment or fuels some sort of rivalry between them due to their unfortunate circumstances, but I don't think I've ever seen or heard of characters that direct their emotions towards themself so selflessly before. How Tsukasa's written to embody his architype to the point of growing up and building his personality systematically around how he percieved his childhood, and his healthy relationship with his sister. He's subtle in his 'glass child'isms, so much that people can easily read him as being shallow minded, and it makes for such a nuanced character. Not to mention how it's set in a Slice of Life esque narrative, how people can genuinely grow up this way and be left unseen. Maybe my cinematic library isn't expanded enough, but no one embodies 'glass child' so painfully realistic and beautifully like Tsukasa Tenma, and especially without the need to demonize any side of the family. Above all, his writing paves way for people in similar circumstances or similar state of minds to see themselves, and that's so gratifying.

See it sucks bc the plotline with Tsukasa's childhood is very dear to me bc i directly relate to it and between dazzling lights and what i've seen of this one it's actually very well written (especially for prsk standards) but it getting focus again comes with having to see some of the worst takes i've ever seen in my life

To be clear: no, Saki isn't at fault. No, their parents aren't at fault. Yes, Tsukasa does not blame or hold this against them in the slightest. Yes, Tsukasa was neglected. Yes, said neglect was NOT intentional. Yes, these events hurt Tsukasa to the extent he repressed his memory of them. None of these statements contradict each other.
