This account posts daily facts and trivia about Project SEKAI, as well as regular event specs! I occasionally do some essays and content overviews/news as well.
This account is currently operated by one mod and is scheduled to post daily at 5pm UK time. Occasionally I may randomly post about other stuff going on in the game. Asks are always open!

Rules:
Must be canon or otherwise official - Content from any server of the game (including cards, stories and songs etc), music videos, Petit SEKAI, official artwork or 4komas is OK! I will also accept content from the anthology mangas, magazine articles, and seiyuu content (including unofficial stuff so long as it is relevant to the game, like something they said on a personal livestream). In other words everything is fine except fandom stuff/unofficial fanworks.
If the fact is related to Vocaloid/Virtual Singers, it must be relevant to Project SEKAI in some way.
No leaks - Not really a hard rule you can still submit or ask about leaks I just will not post stuff related to them until they are officially released.
Please submit a source for your fact - a screenshot, image, video or link is OK! If you don't have any then that's fine, but please at least tell me what story/card/article/stream/etc is the source so I can get the screenshot/image/link myself.
If the source is not available on the EN or JP server, or is not available online, please attach an image/video! - I only play on the EN and JP servers, and will only be able to get screenshots and recordings of content available on those servers. If your fact relates to content exclusive to any other server or is from a physically published source and you do not provide an image/video, I can't accept the submission.
Asks are also open if you have any questions about a fact or if you have any general questions for me. Due to the amount of asks I get I cannot answer everything, if I skip your ask just pester me with it or something.
Tagging
Characters are tagged Firstname Lastname (excluding Vocaloids). For example, facts about Ichika will be tagged as Ichika Hoshino.
Events will be tagged using the fan translations from the Project SEKAI wiki, rather than the official English names. This is just for consistency so I don't have to go back and redo tags whenever EN changes a title.
The media will also be tagged (e.g: Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE or Petit SEKAI)
Send me an ask/comment if you need anything trigger tagged. Triggers will be tagged "[trigger] tw". Flashing lights is the only thing I actively tag atm.

EN player since launch, got the game for the Sonic costume, stayed for potato ni natte iku. Not joking.
I have a basic understanding of Japanese and am also entirely self taught. If I make any mistakes with my translations I apologise + please correct me!
I don't have a favourite unit but vbs has the best music. no i will not tell you who my oshis are or my opinions on ships. i like the vbs side characters (not the americans) and asahi and sakurako. i will tell you that much because i doubt how much people care about them.
I wrote the TVTropes entry in the header before the one other person who uses that site accuses me of stealing it. I haven't used tvtropes in a while now.

How far in advance does pjsk record songs? I wondering since Carin made Avery ominous post about a song that she just recorded for pjsk today.
Usually Very just because of all the production that goes into it. We've had lists of covers leak about a year or more in advance before, and probably not all those were recorded yet but it gives you an idea of how far in advance songs are recorded. Commissions are obviously on a tighter schedule due to the fact the songs can sometimes be finished very close to release like HoshiOrche preview having a different instrumental to the final song, then this early version being released on streaming, but in that instance the actual vocals didn't change so they're still recorded about as far in advance that you can get.
That said I kinda do get the feeling Saki might kick shiho or honami from the rotation. Again. Just because this song probably isn't anything after early next year at absolute latest and that will probably still be rotation7.
I would say I’m surprised the haru7 comm is short but I’m not since Steaka has only two songs that hit the 3 minute mark. It is sad though that we’re getting so many more short songs but I don’t really clpl is forcing that rather it’s just the general trend that music has been going towards no. Especially since we have gotten multiple songs with a normal length
Yeah I don't know any steaka songs other than their proseka next song so makes sense it's not that long then. It is very annoying songs are getting shorter though. Love live has the same problem it's just less annoying there because the songs have gone from 4+ minutes to 3+ minutes whereas prsk has gone from 3+ minutes to 2+ minutes. Awesome stuff thanks tiktok.
It is really funny that it's been 6 years and no song has topped Stella for length still.

According to MORE MORE JUMP!’s main story, Minori is incredibly unlucky. This is referenced in one of her Summer menu voicelines, where she says that she hasn’t had a winning icepop stick since elementary school.

Eh it's not my top pick. She'd get pushed towards the end of the current event cycle and the only one she could get is october, which I think is a better pick for Mafuyu7 atm, we'll see how vs event and anni go. I think if WxS gets another hakolim this year it could be Rui7 in the end of November lim slot
Me listening to vbs losstime memory: ok so something is wrong (apart from the instrumental a key, which are different from the og). They are singing... too slow? Haha. What weird thought.

huh i just checked out both songs that's actually so weird that they slowed it down. i think that's one of the only covers they've done that for possibly the only one? not too sure
i've been seeing a lot of complaints from jp fans regarding losstime memory's line distribution and an's voice direction and ngl i'd like to see what people here think because while i kinda get the latter as an has sounded a bit strained recently (even if i feel she's fine here), i feel the former is kinda silly lol
yeah i don't think she sounded nearly as strained as she has in some other recent songs. i really don't see what issue people have with the distribution either 😭😭 it's like favoured to vivids but they were due a song like that after bad dogs got a couple full unit covers that favoured them the last few years
Ok so I just listened to mmj otsukimi recital and vbs losstime memory and can't they use the og instrumentations because of JIN's copyright issues with the songs or they just decided to use a worse base just for no reason. Oh I'm so pissed
i know kisaragi attention and summertime record have rerecorded instrumentation too but idk if that's anything to do with copyright, i assumed it was just specially for their inclusion in the game.
are there any chance that in 6th anni stream they will announce next alt vocal album or post full ver alt vocals on youtube like 4th anni? ive been waiting...
they could maybe announce another alt vocal album it's been a long time since the last one and i think most characters have a reasonable amount of alts for the album now. the first one wasn't announced specifically at an anniversary stream so it could happen at any time. if they even plan on releasing a second one.
According to 4koma #256, Saki once styled Ichika's hair into twintails based on Miku's when they were children. Ichika in the present is quite embarrassed about this.
usually folk songs are fine though bc they're pretty much all old enough to be public domain., like how tetoris got added no issues. i think ievan polka was in one of the diva games too?
According to Project Message vol.18, out of the entire cast, Emu takes the biggest bites of her food, whilst Kanade takes the smallest. Staff also added that although Emu takes large bites of her favorite foods, she takes smaller bites during dinners.
