It’s not sneaking if the other person is being oblivious.
I wasn't... I'm not -- Who are you?
...
What do you want?
"It shouldn’t be a fad, it isn’t a joke” The girl sounded defensive, as she crossed her arms in front of her body. “What are you here for?”
Skylar snorted. "Apparently I hit bone." She said. Glancing back at the brunette, she pursed her lips. "Pyromania and Borderline Personality Disorder."
"PTSD and general anxiety disorder," he answered, automatically. "What about you?"
"Pyromania and Borderline Personality Disorder." She said, her tone bored - as if she had recited this time after time.
What I'd do to hear what the best songs of this summer are.
We’re off to see the Billboard, the wonderful Billboard of America.
There’s a receptionist’s desk I have had my eye on for quite some time.
You better have some amazing plan if anything goes wrong. I don't want to get thrown in isolation for looking at the songs of 2014.
Excellent.
Well, if “some of the other people” in here don’t like it, they can take it up with me then, yeah? ‘Cause don’t know if you’re hard of hearing or not, but I did say that I wasn’t judging. If I say they’re animals, it’s only because I’m speaking from experience.
You better watch your tone, buddy. I'm not exactly the person you want to rub the wrong way.
Sometimes they have macaroni and cheese and that’s what I look forward to every week.
That sounds inviting, but knowing the staff here, they probably crush up NyQuil and put it in there, or something.
Enjoying yourself there?
...Yes. Yes, I am.
Y'know, sneaking up on people isn't a good way to make friends.
The girl seemed speechless for a moment before continuing. “Ahn… eating disorder. Suicidal behavior.”
"Mhm." Skylar said whilst looking the girl up and down. "I've been seeing a lot of eating disorders lately... Must be the new fad."
He followed, hesitantly, trying to watch both her and his surroundings. ”Aidan. What’s yours?”
"Skylar." She said coolly, chuckling at his obvious nervousness. "What are you in for, Aidan?"
Excellent.
Bushels of.
Didn’t mean any offense. I’ve no room to judge though, yeah? I’m in here just like everyone else.
Oh, I take no offense to that comment. However, some of the other people in here might not like being called animals. And I'd hate to see such a pretty face perish within their first few days.
What I'd do to hear what the best songs of this summer are.
I would certainly hope so! There are computers around the asylum for the staff, and perhaps, there’s a monitor we can use to confirm these beliefs. Though, you’ll have to keep really quiet.
Sounds like an adventure - I'd totally be up for it. I'm great at keeping quiet.
If you wouldn’t mind, th-that would be great.
Skylar smirked and then turned on her heel and began walking down the hall, looking back at the male. "Name?"
prompt - Decisions.
Does their decision-making process include assessing every possible outcome? Or do they just do the first thing that comes to mind?
Skylar usually does the first that comes to her mind. When assessing things, she then begins to hesitate or second guess, which was usually followed her friends making fun or her or something like that, which she didn't like. The whole thing has stuck with her and her decision making is now thrown off.
Would they make a decision that conforms to their own beliefs and needs or would they try to meet the expectations of others?
In the past, Skylar would try to make decisions that would meet the expectations of others, though, as she got older, she started making decisions for herself and not worrying about what others thought.
Do morals and ethics matter to your character?
No. Skylar couldn't care less about those things. They're water off a duck's back to her.
Rank the following things based on how much they matter to/affect your character in terms of making a tough decision:
-Pressure
-People Around Them
-Consequences
-Morals & Ethics
-Reputation (after making the decision)
-Loyalties (friends, lovers, etc)
-Emotions (at the time of the decision making)
-Preparation
(Ranked from most important to least important.) Loyalties, emotions, preparation, reputation, pressure, people around them, consequence, morals and ethics.
How often does your character make decisions they end up regretting?
Almost never. Unless the decision comes back and completely ruins Skylar's life (like burning down a library) then she regrets her decisions. However, that's not that common.
"Hide and seek. Trains and sewing machines. All those years, they were here first."
The girl allowed the other to guide her somewhere else, her face still surprised. “I… I am Anna. Anna Whitehall. Just got here.”
"Fresh meat." She said with toothy grin. "What you in for?"
Excellent.
I always wanted to visit the zoo.
You seem fun.
