it’s nice to remember there are happy and hopeful things in this world. there are kids hanging a pride flag on their wall finally, their hearts swelling. there are mothers holding new born babies with tears of love in their eyes. there are puppies and kittens being showered with love and adoration from small kids who have never seen anything so cute. there are people who are finally finding their way out of debt or mental health issues or family problems. there are people falling in love and finding their soulmates. there’s you. there’s you who has faced wars and has made it out. you who has been through hell and back and managed to come out standing strong, even if you can’t see it. you, who can experience these things if you can hold on a little longer.
"There's a lot of beauty in ordinary things, isn't that kind of the point?"
—Pam Beesly, The Office
