Colorized Vectors from the Scooby-Doo Unleashed Style Guide!!

You may have seen my recent post of art from the style guide for Scooby-Doo Unleashed, an early 2000s merch line for the franchise. Well, as detailed in said post, it came with a booklet that showed the suggested colorizations for each piece, which I have now finished replicating!!

As a note, some pieces in the Icon section utilized patterns and textures not provided with the disc (presumably they were unique or came with whatever vector based program was used to make these). I have done my best to accurately replicate these, but they may not be exact to the renders in the booklet. I hope you can understand or forgive me, or at least promise to only murder me a little bit and gently styles.

Speaking of the internet archive, I've also put all of these renders, as well as the b&w ones up on there for easy access without the compression tumblr sometimes causes!! Please enjoy, and again, use these for whatever!! Icons, meme edits, print out a sticker!! Have fun!!

dandy doo is specified as being paternal so i figured grandpa scooby and great grandpa scooby must be on mumsys side of the family :) its funny whoever made the encyclopedia seemed to have knowledge of spooky but not dandy lol. i havent read spookys comic but i dont think they specify which side of the family hes from either. i just left them on dada's side partly because of this tree and because it fit better in my horizontal layout lol.

i wish we would see more of scooby's family return!! i know dum and dee would be received extremely well, and i would love to see whoopsy again in particular. the siblings as well would be nice :^) miss them. gah.

SCOOBY-DOO UNLEASHED STYLE GUIDE MASTERPOST!!

Hello!! It's Emma posting yet another style guide for a Scooby-Doo Merch Line!! This time it's Scooby-Doo Unleashed (seemingly no relation to the second live action film), a 2001/2 line largely focusing on Scooby playing instruments (guitars especially) and musical notifs abound.

As with last time what is presented here is the images as presented on the disc, simply resized (losslessly, thanks to their vector formats) and in the case of the patterns specifically moved fully onscreen for ease of use. This style guide actually came with a full color pack in, which made colorizing the renders much easier than the I Love You line, as much less guesswork was involved. I am still working on those at time of posting this, but I will be linking that masterpost in the comments of this one when the time comes.

In the meanwhile, I have uploaded the contents of the disc to the Internet Archive HERE, so feel free to mess with them yourself as well!!

Now, onto the Show!!

As you can see, Scooby seems to be rocking out by and large, though the first few images also denote a possible Techno flavor to his tunes. This will be reflected in the Icons section later on. and by later on I mean-

Lots of fun patternwork going on here, as well as interesting uses of Scooby's sillouhettte!! There's also a unique Scooby head where he's listening to music on headphones, which seems to be based on a scene in WAY where he's come out of a vase that has been shattered. Also a... Youtube Play Button? (i know its a fairly standard play button but like. look at it.) These look especially great in color, lots of gradients and what not to make things pop, but those will come later as I said!! Speaking of patternwork though..

The patterns are the most edited from their .eps files (the vector format used for these guides back in the day), as they all featured a random white box off to the side (maybe an artifact of tiling tests?) and were half off screen. When I resized them I simply went ahead and moved them fully back onscreen as well. Anyways, these are also cool!! would love an aloha shirt with some of these, though I imagine stationary was the more common use (btw!! if you have any merchandise with art from this line, let me know!! Either post it in the tag "#Scooby Doo Unleashed" or @ me on the post!! Or even better yet, do both!!)

Also included on the disc was this color pallet. The text lost its cool font when imported into the program I used, and I had to reposition and resize all the text, but otherwise its unedited. Yes, that second R is just.... there. Maybe it was meant to be the Registered Trademark symbol for Pantone? Thankfully though, I also went ahead and found a way to include that original font

I just went ahead and scanned the pack in this time, since it has color versions of all the artwork. Notably, this was the first style guide I got ahold of that lacked suggested Fonts. Not sure why that is. Also, no extra R on the Pallet, so still no clue why that's there in the file.
