Mario Hounkanrin, @mariosupa I was born in Benin, raised in France and living (for now) in the Netherlands. I'm a graphic and motion designer by profession and passion. What started my will to draw more and ultimately to paint is that time when a client ask me to change the features of a "colored" character so she looked more "white". I was shocked and noticed that most of the time, when a character is realistic, the client want it "white"... I always thought that the African body and the African cultures have always been misrepresented in the history of art. In my opinion, the only thing that matters in the world, besides Love, is Art and Culture. That's what can make people change and understand the connection we all have to each other. And when someone acknowledge the culture of someone else, that's when they see and understand the humanity and the oneness in each other. Happy Earth Day!

Just a quick piece this evening. But our Earth does a lot for us,  and I felt like some art was needed.

I just returned from a trip to Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland! 

This is a procreate sketch I did while people watching in Denmark. There was so much amazing fashion to take in (and dogs). Not to mention people being amazingly coordinated on their bicycles. <3
