the field

im bad at poetry so ill try to make this quick my greatest fears are sharks and forgetting so i dont swim deep and i write everything down i was walking through my sacred place and it was so beautiful and i wanted to remember it all the field is the only place i ever feel truly alone and i needed that this morning a car drove past me as i walked alongside the road i kept my head down impolitely because i was alone and they would not take that away from me i took photos as electronic memories to support the emotional ones i am scared i might lose there are no sharks in this creek where the water will always be flowing and as long as i live i can visit it the whole walk was a prayer
