My little!Dennis Whitaker headcanons🍼🤍

He initially regressed as a stress/trauma response, but over time he discovered how secure and calm it made him. So what started only as a coping mechanism later became a consistent part of his life.

He’s a very messy little. Spills his drinks, gets food all over his face, forgets where he left toys. He makes a mess without even trying!

When he’s regressed, stuff like brushing his teeth or drinking water just slip his mind. He needs to be reminded of those things and requires help doing them.

He’s usually shy, but when he gets comfortable with someone he’s a lot more relaxed. He baby talks/babbles without realizing it.

Padded! He was a bit embarrassed about it at first but later realized how it gave him a sense of safety and security. Being padded makes him feel held together and protected.

Has one paci that’s his favorite which he refuses to give up. It was his first, and he bought it from a pharmacy while pretending it was for a younger sibling.

Certified crybaby. He cries a lot. When he’s happy, when he’s sad, he just has too many feelings for his tiny body.

He’s an iPad kid. He’s got a million different games on his iPad, including coloring apps, doctor games, etc. He likes watching stuff on it too (Sesame Street, Ms. Rachel, and Bluey are his go-tos)

He loves napping. Since he’s constantly exhausted from working long shifts, he definitely enjoys taking lots of naps and sometimes even dozes off in the middle of playtime.
