28 Days

So we are on September 28th with 28 days to go.  We had a growth scan done this morning at Virginia Hospital Center. It was fun to know that our little girl is already head down and weighs about 6 lbs already. She has already beat her sister at 5.4oz and 35 weeks. I cannot wait to be done being big and round. I can’t wait to be able to touch my toes again and put on shoes and socks that fit. Currently I am wearing Lili’s size 9 shoes because my feet are so swollen. The doctors say that everything looks good and that we are on the right track. Now everything is up to when the baby would like to join us in this world. :-)  Due Date: October 26, 2015  (28 days)

Well I would love to say that this has gone by fast but since I am the one who is pregnant it really hasn't. lol - We are so thankful for everyone who has contributed towards our little girl. Its not easy after 14 years to start over again. Its like its our first child even though its not. We have had to get everything from scratch. Thank you to everyone who has thought of us if even in the smallest way. We are very appreciative. 

I am hopeful that this baby will stay warm inside until her due date but I am not sure if she has other plans. She is kicking less now and just moving more which is making life a little more difficult. I cannot wait to meet her and hold her and more importantly I cannot wait for the sisterly bond that will happen when Lili meets her sister for the very first time. My heart will ache with such joy as this is what she has wanted for some time now.

Since we are winding down I am not sure how many more posts I will have until the baby gets here but I will do my best to update as I can when I am home with her so that you all can share along with us. :-)

Baby girl is doing well. We are at 33 weeks 5 days and it is starting to get rough. Baby is running out of room in there and is torturing mom with all her karate chops and kicks. :-) We are getting more and more excited now that we were able to see in 4d what baby girl is looking like these days. Lili is very excited and cannot wait to meet her little sister. It is all becoming very real. She is determined to make as much loud and obnoxious noises she can until her sister comes and it is slight quiet time in the house. :-)

As we come upon the next month we are still getting things ready. Her clothes have been washed and put away. Boxes are slowly starting to be opened and placed in their spot. We have even tested out the new baby camera on the dogs to see which naughty one was going in the kitchen and getting into the recycling.... (Logan) Everything is coming along though and all we can say is that we can’t wait. :-)

60 Days and counting

Latest update; We are getting closer every day. We are counting down the days. Mom is thinking that this one may come early like her big sister Lili did. The doctors say there is about a 25% chance of this happening. I think at this point Mom wouldn't mind that at all. :-) She is getting more uncomfortable sleeping every day. Doctor’s appointment is on Friday so we will see how baby is doing. While time seems to be flying by according to the calendar days, 60 days cannot be any longer away. Well that's it for now. 27 Weeks today

Time has flown by already. Can’t believe it! We are in the final stages of getting ready for Lil Baby Vasquez to arrive. Doctors say it could be sooner than we are thinking so we are trying to prepare for it. Every weekend has been super busy and we are trying to enjoy all of it before the lil one arrives. We keep asking Lili how she feels about having a baby in the house and she just smiles and says her normal “i don't know”, but for me that means its gonna be weird. :-p That’s ok. Its going to be a big change for all of us. We will keep you all posted as time nears. Doctors appointment this Thursday will make my last of the once a month appointments and now we are going to every two weeks...

less than 90 DAYS!

baby crib is now ready! and lili picked her first, “Teddy.”

This time around we see Baby! there she is!!! we had to go twice because she was so stubborn and didn't let the Dr take the pictures she needed. right after this pic we saw her kick. mom says she is ALWAYS kicking and moving around. sounds like she is going to be a handful. good thing we have back up with BIG sister around to help us.  we also got to see a 3D pic but all you could see is her umbilical card and I say Rosario nose, but mom says that's a Vasquez nose.  :-) baby is getting bigger and mom is now at the uncomfortable stage no matter what she does lol.

we are creating this site for baby 2. we will be posting news and updates here regularly. Once baby comes we will be flooding this site. :-) so far Baby is 4 Months in. We finally get to hear her heartbeat!!
