Alright alright I’m gonna write some fics.
I’ve been inspired. And I do read the tags of those imagines posts. All of em. For some reason the thought of situation 1 from imagines 3 with Peridot felt like a good prompt.

It was an early morning, and Peridot was looking out the window and watching the sun rise. Garnet was busy in her room and Pearl was tidying up the kitchen. Steven was still asleep. Amethyst came out of her room suddenly and excitedly holding two soda cans in her hand.
“Heeeyyy p-dooottt!”
Peridot gave a small flinch and looked over to Amethyst.
“Check out what I got!” She said, holding one of the cans in Peridots face.
Pearl sighed, “Amethyst, please keep it down you’ll wake Steven.”
Peridot looked at the can in front of her face “a… Cylinder.”
Amethyst nodded “Yeah! Wanna try something cool? I was thinking you could try shapeshifting a digestive system today so we can drink this soda and get some fry bits!”
Pearl froze and turned to the two. “Now Peridot, it’s ok if you don’t want to try it. Personally I do not enjoy the feeling of eating or drinking so it’s ok if it isn’t a pleasant thought to you,” she said to her.
Peridot looked over at Amethyst. Pearl was right, the thought of eating or drinking was odd, but she couldn’t reject a request from Amethyst to spend time together.
Peridot shook her head “No. No, I’ll try the Earth drink!”
Amethyst grinned “That’s the spirit! Chug it!”
“Do not chug it!” Pearl interjected.
Amethyst smiled and watched Peridot open the can and bring it to her lips and tasted the earth citrus flavor. It was sweet and bubbly, and she wasn’t expecting to like it. After a couple gulps, feeling her body awkwardly try to figure out the format of the primitive digestive system, she said “It’s good…”
Amethyst smiled widely and took a swig of her soda. “Yeah! You’re a champ Peri!”
Peridot gave a slight smile at that and continued to drink it.
“I didn’t know… I hadn’t… tasted before…”
Amethyst snorted at the nerdy remark and finished downing her soda, then waited for Peridot to finish, and got up.
“Well if you’re all set then let’s go!”
Garnets door opened and she walked out of her room, she then paused and shifted her glasses.
Peridot nodded “Right. Coming.”
Amethyst headed out the door and Peridot got up to follow.
“Peridot.” Garnet said to her suddenly, and Peridot flinched and turned to look at her.
“Be careful.”
Peridot, not knowing what she meant, said, “Uh, I will!”
It was cool sunny day as the sun had nearly fully risen and they headed to the boardwalk.
“Is this where you spend your time?” Peridot asked.
“Yeah, sometimes. Steven loves it here though,” Amethyst answered.
“Gimme the bits!” She said to Pee dee and he got them for her. She grabbed them and turned, walking with Peridot to a bench.
“How did you spend your time Peri? In Homeworld?” she asked, sitting down next to her.
Peridot thought about a proper response and was starting to feel an odd sensation in her lower abdomen but decided to ignore it. She told Amethyst about her Homeworld experiences and about her original loyalty to Yellow Diamond. She told her about the Homeworld traditions and the technical differences, and she began to realize and tell the other ways Yellow Diamond had been harsh to her, a clod, which entertained Amethyst greatly and she snickered as she shared her fry bits with Peridot. Peridot took a few of the fry bits, interested in the saltiness and crunchiness of them.
“Go on! Say it again!” Amethyst said, laughing, still not over how the word “clod” sounded when Peridot said it.
"Yellow Diamond was a clod!” Peridot said, eager to please, slightly starting to mean it, and Amethyst snorted and patted Peridots back and Peridot blushed.
“Ahh you’re such a gem!” She laughed.
Peridot smiled but was now starting to feel nervous. That feeling in her abdomen wasn’t going away and was instead getting worse. Surely she didn’t need to expel the soda, right? Maybe something was wrong with it! Had Amethyst betrayed her? No, she wouldn’t do that, Peridot thought to herself. She’d just have to wait.
“Come on, there’s some other places we can walk around,” Amethyst said getting up from the bench and holding her hand out for Peridot. Peridot took it meekly, and Amethyst pulled her up.
They started heading to a neighborhood and Peridot was starting to struggle walking, the pressure was really strong now.
“You should meet this old friend of mine! She’s a riot, you’ll love her!” Amethyst said, looking back at Peridot. Peridot froze, feeling a leak.
Peridot internally panicked. She couldn’t leak! She was a true gem! A skilled technician! And not in front of Amethyst! Not after Amethyst thought she was cool!
Amethyst saw the look on Peridots face “Hey.”
Peridot blushed “Y-yes, Amethyst?”
“Are you ok?” Amethyst asked, “if anything is wrong, you can tell me. Are… Are you having fun?” She said lastly, gently.
Peridot saw that Amethyst misinterpreted. “Yes! I’m having fun! I like today. I’m fine r-really…”
Amethyst was still concerned but happy and said “Ok, just keep up.”
Peridot smiled and when Amethyst turned back around she panicked again, feeling more and more leak between her thighs. She looked around and saw a storm drain, it’d have to do.
She purposefully tripped and when she landed she started going full force into the storm drain. It felt amazing to let go what was pent up in her. It was a brilliant plan, very little of her clothing was affected. What was affecting her clothing was warm and clingy and Peridot was very self conscious of it. Amethyst turned around from hearing Peridot fall and walked over to her.
“Are you alright? Did you trip?”
Peridot nodded, “Yeah, I just tripped.” Seeing Amethyst reach her hand to her she looked away shyly “J-just, give me a second… I still…”
Amethyst was worried and then she slowly was able to hear the faint hissing. She gave a slight smile, amused.
“Peridot… Are you…?”
Peridot blushed “D… Don’t look at me! I’m… Experiencing a… Malfunction…”
Amethyst crouched down next to her, “an accident,” she said, and she gave a sympathetic smile.
Peridot looked down. “I thought… I thought expelling was just something that Steven’s do…”
Amethyst snorted “Ahh Peri… You crack me up.”
Peridot was still embarrassed. “Don’t tell the gems! Don’t laugh at me! Don’t, uh… Don’t…”
Amethyst exhaled, “Peridot you should’ve just told me you had to go.”
Peridot looked down shyly, and the wetting had stopped.
Amethyst then saw how truly embarrassed she was and said, “Hey. I won’t tell the gems. Or Steven. Or anyone. I’m not laughing at you to be mean. I laugh cause you remind me a bit of myself.”
Peridot looked up at her surprised.
Amethyst smirked “Do you think shapeshifting a digestive system for the first time went well for me?”
Peridot was stunned, she hadn’t thought about that.
Amethyst continued, laughing “Oh-ho-ho it was a nightmare! …for Pearl.”
Peridot said quietly, “this happened to you before?”
Amethyst nodded, “More than once, P-dot. That’s why it’s ok. I don’t think any less of you.”
Peridot nodded and accepted Amethysts hand to be helped up, and Amethyst hugged her tiny body suddenly, making Peridot feel surprised but comforted.
Peridot was surprised that Amethyst hadn’t let go of her hand as they walked, but she didn’t protest. They walked back to the beach near the shore, and Peridot was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable but kept remembering Amethysts words.
“Amethyst?” She said, letting go of Amethysts hand softly.
“Yeah?”
“…Thank you.”
Amethyst grinned “Any time. Also…” She pushed Peridot into the water suddenly.
“Hey! Why did you?! Oh.” She said, realizing it was to help the earlier predicament.
Amethyst ran into the sea as well and they goofed around in the shallow water. Peridot was starting to find fun from this weird Earth experience.
Slowly Peridot was starting to feel happy and open with Amethyst, and less awkward.
“Hey Peri, there’s still more soda inside if you want any. …Just make sure you take care of things when you need to,” Amethyst told her.
Peridot nodded and then gave a small smile, her chest warming with this newfound emotion.
“Alright. Sure! Why not!”
