charlieâspencer:
âIt is my bedtime. Itâs actually probably past my bedtime.â Charlie smiled a little. âYou could. Or you know youâre always welcome to stay here. Donât want you hitting any curfew breakers on your way back to school.â
A soft smile lingered on her face as she nodded. âThatâs probably a better idea, since I could barely drive ya home.â Lily chuckled. âPlus Halloween means there aught ta be a lot more drunk people than usual. Drunk walkers are just as bad as drunk drivers yanno.â
âI was hoping you were gonna see it my way.â Charlie smiled as he started to turn off the lights, making his way towards the staircase. âI wouldnât doubt any of that. Just be happy itâs a Monday. If it was the weekend, it would be incredibly loud right about now.â
Lily grinned as she followed Charlie to the stairs. Looping her arm with his, she leaner her head on his shoulder briefly as she gave his arm a loving squeeze. âLoud noises arenât my favorite thing, but yanno if Iâve learned anythinâ from my family and livinâ at Vanderwood, I believe it would be how ta sleep right through âem. Iâve more than once not woken up âta one of the girls climbinâ in through my bedroom window. They coulda been intruders and I woulda been non the wiser. I guess thatâs why I have you.â Lily gave charlie a peck on the cheek before beginning to climb the stairs.
