What makes you feel most confident in yourself? Or maybe a better way to phrase that would be how to you feel most empowered? To be honest this isn't a very good question but I enjoy asking it anyway because everyone has very different answers to it. Some people feel best when they wear certain clothes, others feel most empowered around a specific group of people or when they are receiving positive affirmations. I don't think it's a weird question at all, I'm very happy to answer. I think that what makes me feel most confident in myself is my past experiences. When I feel like I'm not pretty, I remind myself of the people who have pursued me, kissed me, and wanted me. When I feel like I'm not a good person, I remind myself of the times people have opened up to me because they trusted me, or called me their best friend. When I feel like I'm not clever, I remember the teachers comments to me and their encouragements. I don't allow myself to fill my head with doubts or mean comments, because somewhere in the past, I've been proven otherwise. And if there's an aspect of myself where that hasn't happened yet, I improve myself to have that experience I need in order to shut the negative thoughts down.
