immense brian murphy w for the way he did women dwarves in bahumia. all dwarves have beards, Including the women, Including the sweet pretty feminine dwarf princess thats the main character macho human fighter dude’s ex-girlfriend hes pining after. and then that pretty princess dwarf has a sister, who shaves off her beard. and in like any other media this sister whos clean-shaven would be The De Facto Love Interest bc shes more “human conventionally attractive and normal” (like in bg3 how they soften lae’zel’s githyanki features and karlach’s tiefling eyes to make them more “appealing” compared to other npc gith and tieflings). but NO. brian murphy instead made the sister whos clean-shaven a butch lesbian knight, bc he actually considered that this isnt our human society, this is a society where having a beard Is a feminine beauty standard, so the queer presentation would be shaving. also the way he communicated to the audience that this clean shaven dwarf woman was queer was by making her burst out laughing in disbelief that she would ever be interested in mr macho human fighter dude, then ask if she can ask out the horny busty grimy druid woman, and then later make her pine for that woman for 200 years.
