CTC zine submissions are open!!

I feel obliged to open every post with ‘thanks for your patience’, but really, I’m continually astounded by how chill y’all are with my bumbling around 🤧🤧💘 and for the sake of convenience, specifications are in this post too, just down a short ways. anyway, let’s get right to it!

How to submit:

Make/edit your piece according to the specifications.

Export it in PNG format if it is art, cosplay, or an edit. Writers should include a link to their google doc (make sure link sharing is on!)

Email it to [email protected]. Make sure to include:

The name or alias you want to be credited with

Title of the work, if applicable

A link to the work if you’re a writer, but attach it to the email if you’re anything else.

To make this more personal, you have the option to add a short message (280 characters or less). It should be a thank-you or message of, y’know, appreciation. It can be to Vel or the comic overall, but I ask you keep it anchored to CTC. Again, entirely optional :-)

Wait for an email back- I will either confirm your submission, or notify you of an issue which makes it unable to include. I’ll tell you the problem, though, and you can resubmit it once fixed!

Hi! I was wondering how u get ur prints ready for cons? Like I guess who u order from/ how do u set up or give out ur prints so people don’t bend them? I’ve been wanting to try and go for an artist alley soon uwu

I order from fireball printing and for cons I put them in 11x17 or 8.5x11 display sleeves from paper mart or mat board!

Hiya, I love your work! I was wondering, as you’re quite a big artist online, do you have to deal with people reposting/ tracing etc quite a lot? The thought of that is quite discouraging for me when posting :(

it sucks but it happens too often there’s nothing i can do about it. most of the time i try to ignore it, but if it becomes a big enough problem i will try to DM. if reposting gets serious I file a DMCA. troublesome, but you should try to protect your stuff when you can.
