What Lies With The Heart ♥️
A question that I always seem
To ask. Sometimes I believe it
Will always last… but who
Can say what the future holds?
All I know is my love will never be sold.
Is it wrong to want to grow old?
Is the question I always mask
Away, in fear of being left
Alone, to something that, oh,
So breaks my heart. I'm scared
Of being torn apart by what
Defines my future from my past.
I hope dearly this will last.
Two sides of the same coin,
That's what you are to me,
Is what I see.
You hold the key to my
Heart, so let us never be apart.
What lies beneath the dark sea
Is where I've been until you came.
In my life, that is when you
Called me "mine." That was the best
Day of my life.
Humanity is a lot more real
When I am with you, so surely
This must be true when they
Say love is something that
Changes a person for the
Better. That's why I'd love to
Wear your sweater—the smell
Of you is what makes me
Feel safe in my world of pain.
The warmth of someone you
Love can make anyone feel
Above the world. Then now,
I am sure that love is real
In me and you.
I am right to say that
I found love in you today.
You've taught me things I never
Knew. Someday, I hope
To grow old together with you.
So, what can I say? Love may
Be blind for some, but for me,
It is what took me out of the darkest
Days, which means it's never too
Late for you or me.
That's why I choose
You to be the one. I let you call me yours.
I am yours, and you are mine. I will
Never run away from what we have,
Because you are the soul I will always love.
No matter how far apart we may be,
I love you from the bottom of my heart.
That is a form of art we created
Together as one.
