Sometimes you can get some benefit from changing your mindset to a certain extent but there’s also a lot about how your own mind works that you have surprisingly little control over.
Basically you can often change your mindset but it’s a lot of work and it’s not really productive to beat yourself up if it doesn’t work for you.
It’s easy to fall into extremes in your thinking, like either you have control over your own mind or you don’t, but as with most things it’s not that simple.
There’s stuff you have control over, there’s stuff you don’t, there’s stuff you have control over but only with years of frustrating effort.
But in any case being a human is difficult and that’s fine.
Remember to take your meds and get enough sleep when you can and you’ll probably figure it out.
