I'm so excited to say that the final, and official, version of Roommate's Errand is completed and out to play now for FREE!

This is the very first complete video game I have ever made! :D The art, music, sound effects, and writing are all done by myself. This is my first big project using all of my art and computer skills that I have acquired over the years in my own time and in my education. I'm excited to see where this continues to take me in the future. Have fun playing!!

I can finally say that I am finished with all of the art needed for the official version of Roommate's Errand! (besides a banner maybe?)

Now all that's left to do is add music and sound!

I don't think you guys understand how much I dreaded drawing her. In the beta version and now. She is the reason I have procrastinated so much LOL! Roxanne turned out gorgeous though, so it's alright.

Roommate's Errand has been out for a little over a month now! I would like to get some official beta testers for it though.

What does this mean?

Mondaaayyy!! That means it's a day to work on the game. At this point, I think I'm satisfied with the GUI and I still have to work on creating art, music, and sounds then implement them. After all of that, the game should be ready to go! Funny how I though I was gonna finish the art within a week awhile ago but then I ended up getting busier and changing a lot of things in the game. Not only did a completely swap out a character, but I'm doing a bit more art for some of them.

I just spent six hours straight working on the GUI and you would not believe that I spent about an hour of that just trying to change the shape of a comma and semicolon 😂😭

I’ve been grinding art so hard for the official release of Roommate’s Errand. 😤

I’ve put in 27 hours over three days for the official game so far. I’ve still got quite a bit of art to do for each character, including a new character I’m adding 👀, and some coding rework.

At this rate, I could see myself finishing up the art for it within these next four days or so.

Of course, my body had to attack me right when I had a good flow going LOL. I've been having lots of pain from a few different things these past days so I've been taking it slow and not getting much art done. Another note: Since I'm also expanding game play, there's quite a bit of completely new art that I've gotta get done so it's definitely gonna take me quite a bit more time to get it done. We're almost there though!!

The Grind is Real

HOOOOHHh!! The last two days, I have spent exactly 10 hours straight working on art for the official version on Roommate's Errand. So far, all of the backgrounds are finished. All that's left to do, when it comes to art, is draw portraits for each character. After that, I gotta patch some things, and then adjust and expand game play! :D
