“Hey, you! Watch out!” Jake shouted, firing his pistol at the infected that crowded around him.

Amusement flickered over her features, the corners of her lips curling into a brief smirk. Oh, she was always careful, even if she didn’t have much to concern herself over. Seeing she had a few seconds before everything stirred again, she quickly changed her clip. "You may want to take your own advice." She stated, already seeing a couple more approaching from behind, causing her to ready her own weapon.

He tilted his head briefly to the side with a smirk, agreeing wordlessly. Jake had no idea how he got himself into this mess, but he was sure as hell going to get himself out one way or another. Cleaning out the once crowded infected that swarmed around him, he pocketed his pistol and gripped a rather decomposed corpse by the head, snapping it's neck. "You need help over there, lady?!" He managed to shout over gunfire and groaning.
