The Art of Noticing

If someone asked me,

"How do you want to be loved?"

Maybe I’d first say with flowers, gifts, or handwritten letters.

But on a deeper level, I think I want to be loved through the art of noticing.

I want someone who remembers the little things without me having to repeat them.

Someone who says, "I saw this and thought of you."

Someone who notices the way I laugh, the way my voice changes when I’m sad, tired, or pretending I’m okay. Someone who takes random photos of me just because they want to keep moments of me.

Someone who makes me stop and ask, "How did you know?", and they simply answer, "because I remember.❣️
