“I have never actually killed someone and I have no intention of ever doing so. You don’t need to kill someone to make them learn their lesson,” he looked at the girl walking beside him. She was obviously scared. He’d have to have been blind not to notice. He was surprised how well she was taking him saying he intended to beat the shit out of her boyfriend. Abusive or not, the idea of anything happening to someone you once loved was never pleasant. Despite everything, he’d been a wreck when his father had died.Â
“Lily, do you have any family? Or friends who you could stay with if you left him? I know how trapped this shit can make you feel.”
“I doubt he’d ever learn no matter what. He’s a bad, bad man....” She sighed. As horrible as her boyfriend was she still loved him. He had his good days when he would bring her flowers, or take her out to dinner, or even give her a massage. Those were the days that reminded her why she would stay.
“No... I don’t have anyone....” She sighed. Lily grew up in a group home and the other kids there often teased her for being so quiet that she was unable to learn how to make friends.Â
