You should be jealous you don’t know where I’m living because today, I’m dancing my pain away. I missed this feeling. Missed connecting to my body through dancing. Missed the way my body speaks when my mind finally shuts the fuck up. Missed the way my hips roll slow and filthy like the earth opening up, swallowing every old version of me. Missed the way my tits slap against my chest with every goddamn beat like applause for everything I’ve been through and the way I came back stronger. Missed the way my ass bounces like a storm tearing up the roof of everything I used to be. It feels like freedom, like I’m finally letting go of all the things I’ve kept locked inside, all the hurt, all the parts of me I never let anyone see and now it’s all spilling out. I’m grinding the hurt out, soaking my body in sweat, shaking every painful memory loose like I’m rewriting myself, shedding everything that’s been broken.
