🎬 What’s the best movie you’ve watched in your target language?

Y’know, I don’t think I’ve ever actually watched a movie that was entirely in Japanese? But I am going to blame that on the fact that I don’t actually really like movies (they’re too long!!).

🗝 What is the key to language learning success?

Persistence and immersion!

⚖️ Would you rather have a huge vocabulary, perfect grammar, or a perfect accent in your target language?

Vocabulary, I think tbh. I have a hard time remembering new words. If I could just swallow a dictionary and they’d be there in my brain, I’d love that. Grammar and accent comes with practice! Vocabulary is harder for me.

💬 Coolest thing about your target language?

The fact that the pronunciation is so easy! I feel like for many languages, learning how to actually say the words you’re reading is a daunting thing, but it’s so simple in Japanese. There are five vowels. That’s it.

👍🏻 What’s the best langblr post you’ve made?

I can’t point to a specific post, but I’m really proud of my sentence analysis series. More generally (as in, not langblr), I like Setting Up a Digital Study Space!
