I will draw him 400 more times and calm down
fuckk they got me cutting strawberries 😭 <- I'm the one who chose this recipe
I gotta get back to work. What, breaking bones and cracking skulls?
It would’ve been cool to see different Fives in clothes, age, and genders. Imagine seeing adult five and old man five. COMIC FIVE AND THIS FIVE MEETING?????
Yes! There should have been at least one old Five there!
Or two Old Fives playing chess. And a few young ones eating doughnuts.
Brisket five taking a break from making his usual foods to make a peanut butter marshmallow sandwich, with just as much care, for a few young fives.
#little fives waiting for their sandwiches #my heart is breaking now
GUYS The older fives looking out for the little fives cause they’re still kids. Some of them are five if he was able to go back but he’s still 13 consciously D:
Random NATM headcanon
I feel like Sacajawea would be the first to reach out to Ahkmenrah to try and be friends.
I doubt she would've known about Ahkmenrah being trapped in his sarcophagus since she was trapped in her exhibit area.
They also like to set aside time for just the two of them to hang out.
yess 100% yes
sacajawea and ahkmenrah would so be besties. you cannot change my mind.
okay, imagine. you've been stuck behind a glass wall for 54 years, with the two same dudes for company for years. the people outside can't hear you, you can't hear them. you pace around, you wait, you watch. you have some idea of what'd going on, stilted difficult conversations with friendly exhibits allow you this much. there is a tablet? that allows you and this entire museum to come to life? and now, it has been stolen, and the new night guard shatters the glass wall.
life outside those walls was jarring. you didn't expect it to be but it was. years and years of watching did little to prepare you for the noise. you get caught up in it, the blur of movement all around, the welcome cacophony of chaos. you drink it in.
the night passes in a blink of an eye. you help the night guard track down the thieves, the man who you often catch watching you saves your life and you meld him together, they catch the thieves, you got to know teddy, a ridiculous man- silly and kind, and the night is over.
a day or two later, you wander down the halls of the museum. drinking in the sights you never got to see for years, meeting people from all over the world, listening to them talk. you make your way down a random corridor and then you meet the boy.
he is a king, proclaimed so by the crown heavy on his head. but truly, to her, he is no more than a boy. ahkmenrah, you remember, owner of the tablet. you owes him for your life you think, for is it not his tablet that gives it to you every night? he doesn't look like much of a king right now. head bowed, hands clasped over his knees drawn to his chest, seated on the floor outside his exhibit.
you found out about him from teddy. what had happened to him, what role teddy himself had played. and you see the guilt raging across his face, and you slip a little further into this thing you dare call love. ahkmenrah, had been trapped, not unlike yourself, yet so very different. trapped away in his coffin, his sarcophagus. kept their for years on end, no room to move, to stretch, barely enough to breathe. apparently, he kept screaming. screaming to be let out, for hours every night until it became background noise. you can't imagine it. tears well in your eyes. 54 years stuck in the dark, stuck with himself. at least you got lewis and clark. at least you got light and attempted companionship. he got harsh words and orders for silence.
so when you find him outside his exhibit, a picture of pity, though you suppose he would not like to be called so, you move towards him. you feel a sense of kinship with him. you want to tell him, "yes, i too was kept trapped. i know what it is like. perhaps not exactly, but i "know"
instead, you tap his shoulder. he looks up and you are struck by how young he is. you smile, and he hesitantly smiles back. a quick introduction, an offer to roam around together, and before you knew it, a tentative friendship that soon grew to more.
Hiiii can u draw five being an uncle to claire and stan? Idk if you've drawn stan or claire before but id love to see the goobers in ur style
he wouldnt even try and he'd still be the favorite uncle
Kathy the receptionist is not paid enough to deal with the fact that the 13 year old boy that just came in killed a whole room of people but she is willing to die over a vending machine and i feel her
Do you think whenever Klaus sobers up, he sometimes sees a horde of ghosts trailing around Five like he did with Hazel & Cha-Cha?
Maybe Klaus starts joking around with Five saying his victims' names, but eventually stops because Five is truly freaking out.
ummmmmm yeah i’m thinking about this post again especially with the tags
the fact that five specifically remembered lila’s parents even though they were just another ordinary job for him means among his 700+ successful kills with his 100% success rate (confirmed by the commission handbook) he presumably can remember almost any of them by name
actually I’m not done yapping about NatM yet because imagine spending 54 YEARS locked up in a tiny box, fully conscious every single night, slamming on the lid for someone to let you out. And when they finally do, it’s just because they need something from you. You find out that this whole time, the fucking WAX SCULPTURES have been walking around the museum living their lives while you- an actual human being who lived and died and has real memories, not just a copycat persona of a historical figure- were denied that freedom. And THEN a few years later while trying to save the tablet (again) you are literally dying and decaying, alone in the background of the scene, while your friend decides to worry about the MONKEY instead. Can someone please give Ahk a hug.

i think there was a fic vaguely like this, with some australian(maybe) ghost teaching them how to use a barbecue.
Ahkmenrah for most of the first movie
everyone in natm is a re-animated wax figure and ahkmenrah is just a 4,000 year old living, dancing corpse. you know what? hell yeah
THE HARDEST PART'S THE AWFUL THINGS THAT IVE SEEN
something that fucking kills every ounce of joy to think about is the fact that five leaving may have genuinely caused the apocalypse.
sure, none of the siblings were ever really great to viktor and that includes five, but him and viktor were canonically closest as kids. five was the only one that viktor felt somewhat listened to by and five confided in viktor like he couldn’t with anyone else. this is shown in the available pages of viktor’s book and also in the scene where five leaves, where he looks to viktor, who silently pleads with him not to go.
there’s a chance that it had happened differently and maybe five being there could’ve changed things. maybe he would’ve told leonard / harold to fuck off and leave his (brother) alone because he just knew something was weird with him and it was more effective than allison’s attempts (not a knock to her, i just think five would be a lot more persistent about it if that makes sense)
or maybe viktor would discover his powers in a different way and five, who very much sees him and his siblings as more important than the rest of the powerless population, would be interested in figuring out what the hell was going on with him and why none of them knew about vik’s abilities.
Five would have figured it out by the time they were all 17.
Walk with me here. They are all older, (this could be before or after Ben dies, do what you will) and Five, who has a long standing fued with Reggie and has questioned the old man since they were 10, gets nosy.
He blinks into Vik's room, grabs the medicine bottle and studies it. It basically says nothing, just vague stuff that sounds like normal anxiety meds. But Five keeps digging, trying to find where the medicine was made and what doctor Reggie gets it from. Finally, after alot of persuasion and just a bit of manipulation, he talks Vik into taking a break from it.
It doesn't work, obviously. Nope, Reggie finds out immediately and tells Grace to lace Viktor's food with the medicine. Which works for a few days, until Luther and Allison come into the kitchen and see the leftover plate for Viktor (who had Violin lessons run over and missed dinner). Luther has a special metabolism due to his power, and being a teenager, and is constantly hungry. Allison points out the plate and goes "I'm sure Vik won't mind. Mom will make him something else." Luther "Puppy dog" Hargreeves listens to Allison.
Shit gets real awkward when they get called on a Midnight mission and Luther suddenly can't use his superstrength. And from there, the truth comes out.

Not enough art of Five in the apocalypse
