nearly 1.30am in my dad's house and i have the sudden urge to write, nooooo.

I have no laptop, no desktop, I left my notebook at home... I CAN'T EVEN FIND A BLOODY PEN TO SCRAWL ON MY ARMS LIKE I NORMALLY DO. Just back from helping my friend walk her two dogs in torrential rain.

There's something about walking in the rain that is so fundamentally calming for the psyche. Just breaking the convention of 'trying to stay dry' is elating enough, nevermind dandering along the shoreline in the pitch black, each deep inhale a calm and salty breeze.

Also, if you stare at a glistening pavement hard enough it begins to look like you're walking amongst the abstract stars.
