Student Profile - Quinn Fabray

Quinn is a 20 year old Junior from New York City, NY. She is majoring in Politics with a minor in Fashion and is currently involved in Pole Fitness, Choir Society, Dance Society, Yoga and Meditation Society, and Writing Society.

Why did you choose Lima U? What attracted you to the school and area? What do you most hope to gain from your experiences here? Honestly, I needed a change. Living in the Upper West Side has its perks, as well as its downside… I couldn’t handle living amongst the socialites anymore. My life was beginning to feel like a poorly written episode of Gossip Girl. After many Google searches, I stumbled across the quaint town of Lima, Ohio. Despite the lack of modernization, I happen to enjoy the idea of not being bombarded with an extravagant, overly priced store on every block. Education is very important to me, and although Lima U is not exactly Brown University, I have a strong feeling all of my hard work and devotion will bring me to a Harvard level no matter where I attend. 

What are your plans for the future after graduation? Do you plan on returning back to your homeland or do you wish to stay in the Ohio area? I’m not too sure, I used to have my life completely planned out… Things have changed within me, I tend to go with the flow. However, it would be very nice to work in a prestigious law firm on Wall Street.

What do you love most about Lima? What would you change about the school if you could? Well, I’m still getting used to this change… I happen to enjoy the idea of living in a small town, not many sirens can be heard around here. I suppose it gets a little lonely, but I’m very thankful for the new friendships I have made during my time at Lima U. 

What do you think other students should know about you? New Yorkers truly aren’t as vicious as people make us out to be. I promise I’m a good person with good morals, sometimes it takes people a little while to get to know that side of me. I’m here to work extremely hard, as well as make friendships along the way… Just as long as they don’t cause me to discard my studies.

I’m planning on spending my last day off online and just enjoying the rp world and getting caught up on all my accounts. Which means it’s the perfect day to send in your applications and be accepted at a reasonable time. Starting tomorrow I’ll be doing acceptances daily(ish) between 7pm and 9pm which I know is late but due to my work schedule I can’t help it too much. Student Profile - Finn Hudson

Finn is a 20 year old Sophomore from Lima, Ohio. He is majoring in Sports Medicine and Sports Education and is currently involved in Choir Society, Phi Kappa Alpha, and Football.

Why did you choose Lima U? What attracted you to the school and area? What do you most hope to gain from your experiences here? I grow up here in Lima. I love the small town feel of it but with the opportunities to go to cities. I get a kick out of driving to DC for the weekend to see a great museum that is free, or save my money to see major league football, and baseball. What attracted you to the school and area? The town itself is small. The education is focused more in the students. The staff is always willing to put the extra time in if the student is also willing. What do you most hope to gain from your experiences here? I want to be a physical education teacher, or music teacher since I really enjoy both. Being more culture is important to me as well. Developing friendships and lasting memories is a plus as well. 

What are your plans for the future after graduation? Do you plan on returning back to your homeland or do you wish to stay in the Ohio area? I had a teacher that inspired me to be more then what other expect of me. I love football as well as much, I know it seem like an impossible bridge but I would like to teach fitness and music both. Do you plan on returning back to your homeland or do you wish to stay in the Ohio area? I am open to both option. There are students all over the world that need a good teacher. I want to help kids that might not have everything they need. 

What do you love most about Lima? What would you change about the school if you could? It is close to my parents. It has a really small town feel to it. We can still expand our minds here and not be limited.  What would you change about the school if you could? I would love to see more field trips to the cities, like Philly, DC, and maybe even New York. Maybe the party atmosphere tone down a bit it can be detracting. Our football team to grow and maybe win more game. 

What do you think other students should know about you? I am a nice guy very approachable. I grow up here in Lima, and if you are new here I could show you around. Also I am interested in learning new things. I try hard to be a good student and athletic sometimes that can be draining on a person. I try to have a positive outlook on life even if things don’t go my way. I find that if I hold on and step out of my comfort zone new thing will find me, and give me new direction.

While I’m struggling with not being able to lay in bed all day and binge Criminal Minds, come and send us an application. We are a very small group with great writers looking to expand. There isn’t a limit to which characters are open, so bring your favorite glee faces and join our fun little party.

I would like to first thank everyone who is here for our grand opening and welcome you all to my little baby. As I have said time and time again this rp is meant for fun and freedom to create and explore our characters in this new environment. It’s going to be fairly laid back with events and tasks here and there to make things interesting, but all and all I want everyone to have fun and enjoy creating. 

Please never hesitate to get ahold of me if you need anything.

Student Profile - Jesse St. James

Jesse is a 20 year old junior from Akron, Ohio. He is majoring in Dramatic Arts with a minor in Dance and is currently involved in Resident Assistant at Shaw Hall, Dance Society, Drama Society, and Men’s Lacrosse.

Why did you choose Lima U? What attracted you to the school and area? What do you most hope to gain from your experiences here? There was a lot that was built into my decision to go to Lima University. It all boiled down to whether I wanted to stay local or move on to my destiny, New York City. While I had plans on going with the obvious better choice of the latter, personal reasons led me to staying local and LimaU was the best bet at the time. Currently I am excelling at all fields that I am participating in and am planning on graduating the top of my class and allowing the experience to get me better opportunities in New York.

What are your plans for the future after graduation? Do you plan on returning back to your homeland or do you wish to stay in the Ohio area? Broadway, stardom, my name in the big lights. You get the gist. The second I graduate I plan on having booked a role on the Great White Way and hightailing straight to the Big Apple. There is nothing more out there for me other than Broadway and acting and I certainly can’t do that in Ohio.

What do you love most about Lima? What would you change about the school if you could? It’s small, which means that the best of the best are easily highlighted and able to flourish amongst others. While it is often that I am restricted, and I do wish to have more competition it’s a nice place to establish what I am and (rarely) am not good at. What would I change? The drama department is awfully underfunded, someone should work on that. 

What do you think other students should know about you? I’m meant for success. I don’t form close relationships if it means ruining my chances of coming out on top and I am always planning my next move. And for those in my building... I’m always watching.

Roleplay Agenda || 7.13

We officially have a small group of players and I am confident that we can open the roleplay tomorrow 7/13 and have a good start while welcoming new members. Going over my personal schedule and wanting to give everyone a chance to send in their application before we open I have came up with the following times. 

I will be doing a review of applications around 4:30 EST! 

We will open at 5:30 EST for dash play! An official post will be made at that time as well.
