Some tips for people who want to somehow survive in this shit show:
Save any sources you find, even better if you can print it into physical form.
stock up on canned goods.
Stock up on menstrual products, even if you don’t experience periods someone could use it
if you have leftover food, don’t waste it. Someone can eat that.
A subtle way of protesting is not standing up for the pledge of allegiance
Many stores won’t stop you if you steal something small, especially places like Walmart (my brother once accidentally stole something cuz he forgot to take it out of his pocket)
Dont take it out on employees, especially retail workers.
Dont out people who are queer, trans, an immigrant, etc.
Buy products that are reusable. This limits how much you spend and it’s better for the environment.
Cook your own food or grow it if you can.
Dont trash your old clothing, it can be given to someone of need or reused
And on that topic— learn how to sew so you can avoid buying more clothing.
Avoid buying from big companies—instead find a way to make it yourself, pirate or buy from a smaller business
And it may seem hard, but please, never resort to suicide. There are many people out there, in America and outside of it, that are protesting this injustice. You are not alone.
Don’t trust the government. Always research or look into anything they say
Buy history books, or really any sort of books. They can’t ban stuff that isn’t online.
Be skeptical of mainstream sources.
The police are not your friends. All cops are enemies until further notice
