Leon's a stubborn asshole but he's my stubborn little asshole and I love the fact that he's finally learning to accept and ask for help when he needs it instead of just soldiering on alone. He's always "bumped into" people on his missions, but him having Sherry call for help is like a monumental moment of growth and development for him, and I think the way he was so excited to "bump into" Chris eventually at the end there... yeah I think the missions in VD and DI really did have a big impact on Leon and he's learned he doesn't always *have* to be alone and he has friends (and a husband lol) that will come help him and save him if he needs to be saved <3

Chreon with past chrisker and past metaltango is sooo chefs kiss to me. Both orphaned young, traumatized by death and combat and really don't have a way out (yeah yeah its chris' "choice", he's been a soldier since he was 18 and he's in his fucking 50s, do you really see him switching careers? Doing anything else? n e ways), both have had issues with alcoholism, both have anger issues (chris explodes, leon shuts down). Add in an abusive/toxic relationship with their bosses that ends with them both having to kill the guy. They're The Same. They would get eachother like literally NOBODY ELSE. And they both care so so so much. They just want to help people and save people. They both have so much love in their hearts and so much drive and fight even with all the bullshit they've been through and how it affected them. Ugh. They're so endgame to me

What do you mean Chris knew exactly where Leon was in Vendetta? What do you mean he came back and talked to him and they spoke about how similar they were and Chris told him he used to be funny and tried to convince Leon not to give up? What do you mean they have matching watches? What do you mean they have matching coats? What do you mean Chris haunts the narrative of RE9 the whole time, when its a game focused on Leon and a new character? What do you mean Chris came to Leon's rescue?
