yknow that's funny i went to look but i think i deleted it idk bc old art hfhdhsjsk i do that sometimes

but it's this theory that when looking into the shadow crystal for the first time, that light of [[Heaven]] scorched the heck out of his peepers, leaving them damaged and extremely light sensitive. Just a fun thing to toy with inspired by some of the ads as well as the connections towards Burning Eyes. who knows how those clues are actually gonna play out in canon ig we'll wait and see
