OKAY HIIIIIIIII first off i’m not dead hehe so that’s good but!!!! ON TO THE UPDATES!!!

cw for SLIGHT mention of substance abuse? idk its not over but

so i have a job now. went back to trader joe’s and i’m saving up my money in my own personal bank account. so that’s good!!! my parents spontaneously decided to sell our house and move into a temporary rental while my grandparents’ house is renovated so my sister and i have an APARTMENT!!! in the basement of their house. tho it’s super tenuous rn bc idk if we’re gonna stay like that considering other. external circumstances regarding my folks.

my moms gotten slightly better and although she’s still using she’s not as conked out as she was. she tells me she wants to get clean but i’ll believe it when i see it so you know how that goes.

so tldr: very tenuous housing status in a few months, spontaneous ass move but i did get a job so i have money.

honestly i’ll probably still be sparse although i’ll be around!!! i’m usually always around and if you wanna talk more i’ll prob be on discord so feel free to like this or just ask me for it!!!! mutuals only ofc but ya!!!!!

thinking about the fact that today's dndads episode title is a reference to the beatles song "hey jude" wHICH. if you don't know. was written by paul mccartney for john lennon's (neglected) son julian.

and it has lyrics like this

and idk i just think it's kinda fitting. the whole song doesnt fit entirely, but these two parts fit well enough. the idea that ignoring your emotions makes your world colder, the idea that letting love in and not holding back makes you healthier and happier.
