linette's about page, for anyone who wanted to know a bit more about her :)
Linette Dunhelm is known for being the Commander of the Fifth Crusade; the founder of the Palatinate County of Dunhelm, also known as Drezen; the finest bard this side of the Worldwound (pending academic review); an increasingly unhinged force for chaotic good; a blessing to pinafore-makers everywhere; the lover and confidante of a clinically depressed mongrel; and a (sometimes literally) shining example to all halfling kind. Her parents describe her as a little bean who has never done anything wrong in her life. Her armies described her as a change from the usual rigid, sensible commanders who don’t add musical interludes to their training. Regill described her as a menace, which she took as a compliment. Aivu describes her as the bestest best friend and Golarion’s main source of toffee. Lann describes her as a reckless and inexperienced idealist but who is somehow really sexy about it. She describes herself as a Shelynite musician, a counterpoint expert, the reigning soup-champion of Mendev and a little bean who has never done anything wrong in her life. Linette’s mythic journey took her from Azata to Legend, because if there’s one thing she dislikes more than Iomedae’s rigid directives, it’s dying from purple crystal disease. Her main stipulations were, firstly, that Aivu stay with her, and secondly, that Dorgelinda Stranglehold put in an order for several buckets of grass seed. Anyone hoping that the loss of her mythic powers would tone down the chaos, was sadly mistaken. She remains the same as she ever was, with the added benefit of no longer spontaneously bleeding half to death at convenient narrative points. Now the crusade is over and done with, you can probably find her on the HMS (Halfling Manned Ship) Pinafore, primarily populated with willing halfling refugees from Cheliax; but captained by Lann, who is possibly the opposite of a halfling. The Pinafore is bound for new places and experiences: not only for the sheer thrill of it, but also to contribute cutting-edge research articles to the Encyclopaedia Golarionnica, such as “Whether grass can grow on the surface of water”, “If children can be born of mongrels and halflings”, “Whether a normal boat can outpace a mimic boat in various wind conditions” and “One hundred interesting new things to eat from the sea”.
