Zexion gave a small shrug and let him talk. “Well the two of us are together, and you wouldn’t have found out for sure without asking, which is fine. So, what dorm are you in? Hopefully in one that doesn’t have weird events occurring.”

  “Yeah. I really hope not. I’m in room three o’ two. What about you?” Oddly enough, Stan hadn’t seen Zexion in the dorm area. Probably because they had quite different schedules. Or because, as he said, he was usually with Syliph who probably was on a different floor.

Talking was helping to ease that creeped out feeling that resulted from their experience.”How would have it been awkward if we weren’t?” They would have just been two guys working together and spending a lot of time together. Then again he just saw things like that differently.

  “I dunno. To have made that assumption if you two were just friends. Or if you were straight or something. I mean not that there’s anything wrong with any of it. Just didn’t want to be wrong but you only know if you ask right?” At least thats the way he saw it.

“Yes, like he’s part of it. As the main attraction.” It probably wasn’t legal, but what did Lauri care? His family had more money than God. He was the stereotypical rich shit kid. “Yes, I’m dating Syliph the librarian. We’ve been together for a while. Several years at this point.” He stated with a small smile. “The assumption would have been a safe one.”

  “That’s...wow.” He didn’t really know what to say on that. Well he supposed it had to come from somewhere. “Ah. Alright. Cool. Good intuition on me there then. Would have been awkward if you weren’t I guess.” Talking was making dealing with whatever just happened more bearable. “So. Good for you two then.” He never could keep someone that long. Not that he didn’t try not to. He shakes his head, not wanting to go down that train of thought.

Zexion noticed that Stan stuck pretty close to him. He didn’t say anything about it though. It was safer if they stuck together. “I don’t really feel like dealing with my roommate right now. He’s primarily shooting porn in our dorm again.” He cringed. “And Sy is probably asleep already, and I don’t want to wake him, so your offer is appreciated.”

   “Shooting? Like...he’s part of it?” Wow. Pretty ballsy to do that in a dorm, he thought. Was that even legal? Not that he really cared, but the question came to mind. He shakes his head. “So you and him. Are you a thing? I mean. I’ve seen you two together quite a lot. But uh. I mean. Hey. It’s your business. I didn’t want to assume.”

“No you have to write them in lay man terms as some people can’t understand what I am saying half the time.” Song smiled and rubbed his neck as he was lying about that he just wanted the other to work and get some money as his other half was a dick.

Translating and summarizing. Great. He was totally not getting payed enough for that. But any pay was better than none. He’d go complain to the career office about it later. “Yeah. Alright. I guess I’ll have to come by now and then to make sure I’m getting the point across though.” He’d really rather not have to see this guy as much as possible.

He helped Stan up before nodding and warily watching where the strange sounds seemed to emanate from. “Yes, I think getting out of here and back to the dorms for the night would be for the best.” He didn’t believe in ghosts, but there were some really odd things going on… “Come on, let’s get out of here.”

He didn’t really notice it at the time, but as they were walking back, he kept rather close to the other. Strength in numbers, right? His roommate was practically never around, so it was like he was the only one in his room. He rubs the back of his neck. “Hey so uh...if you need a place to crash or something...” He didn’t want to be alone after this. He wouldn’t get sleep anyway.

Zexion fell face first when Stan knocked into him. His knees would be a bit bruised, but otherwise he was fine. “I don’t know what’s going on.” He said and scrambled to his feet. He then offered Stan help up. “We need to get out of here.”

Stan accepts the help up, getting to his feet. Yeah he’ll be a bit sore tomorrow. But as long as he was alive he didn’t care. “I think..I think we should get out of here.” His tone more about reason than fear, but some of the unknown was spurring that on as well.

“So what I send it in personally so the deadline doesn’t count if I turn it in.” Song giggled a bit as he was hold his books. “So you start whenever you come in.” Song titled his head to the side and smiled. “Oh here are some notes I want you to copy and give to a student that has been lacking.” Song put the book in the other hand.

  “Oh. Uh. Alright.” Well shit. It was extra money. But he didn’t want to work with this guy. But. Seems he would be. Just keep thinking about the extra money. He’d need it. “So...Would that be starting now?” He takes the books when he gives them to him, looking them over. “Wait. Like...rewrite them? Couldn’t I just photo copy the pages?”

“Stan Norman I want to apologize for what I did many month ago, I have a very bad case of personalty disorder so who you meet was my bitter side, I am the sweet side.” Song look up at the other as he was a very small male. “I have side your papers as I got other copy of it you can start tomorrow if you want.”

Stan freezes a bit as the other approached him in the hall, guard going up immediately. He wasn’t quite sure why, but he was getting a really not good feeling around this guy. Plus, he had been a real asshole to him. “..If you say so. But the deadline’s passed by like...months. So thanks but, it’s kinda useless now.” If he’s got a personality disorder, was he really fit to be teaching?! He thought to himself.

Zexion lingered in the room a split second longer than Stan and was rewarded with the sight and sound of an empty desk sliding across the room and flipping over like it has been shoved pretty damn hard. At that the TA’s eyes widened and he actually ran from the room. It didn’t take long for him to catch up to and pass Stan.

Stan flinches, backing up away from the sound and colliding into Zexion. The two tumble down, Stan hitting his elbow pretty hard. He cries out, holding onto his arm. Well that would bruise and welt at least. Who knows he may have fractured something as well. But that wasn’t on his mind. “Shit what the hell is happening!?” He grits between his teeth.

The laughter did sound like it was actually coming from the walls, which made things all the worse. It was creepy, and far from funny. The bravery Zexion previously exhibited was starting to wain. “Let’s just get out of here. Something’s not right about this place.”

Stan pauses, and looks back at the other. But he was starting to get the instinct to just flee as well. “Yeah. You got that right.” He says, not keeping his back to one place too long. As he backtracked, he sort of walked around like they do in silly cartoons when trying to be sneaky. At least that’s what it ended up looking like.

The other TA wasn’t very thrilled about all that was going on. This was super freaky Zexion quickly turned around at the noise. The thump was followed by laughter from an unknown source. “…Where do you think that came from?”

The laughter was of indeterminate gender. It sounded like it was coming from within the walls almost. Stan shivers, inching a bit closer to Zexion a bit unconsciously. “Whoever’s pulling this shit it isn’t funny!” He yells out to the empty room.

  “So...I was having some water right? And I was just thinking, ‘wouldn’t it be great if this was alcohol. And then..” Stan holds up the water bottle that was now filled with liquor.

Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favor solitude and silence? Why?

It depends. Sometimes Stan needs the solitude. Being around too many idiots makes him want to do destructive things. But if things get too quiet, his thoughts can get a little too loud. So he needs things in moderation.

Zexion followed Stan into the room. There was nothing there? Cautiously Zexion turned in the light. “Yes, I’m sure the noise came from in here. There aren’t many other places it could have come from.”

This was...getting too freaky. There’s a thump that comes from another room, instinctively he turns quickly, raising the book, ready to strike if needed. “Well, I don’t know about that.”

He was calm, not stupid. Hopefully he wouldn’t need to be armed to deal with whatever was down the hall. Hopefully it was just the house settling, but it really hadn’t sounded like the building setting. Zexion crept out of the room.

Stan peeks around the corner as well. But. There was nothing there. The room seemed to be as normal as it could be. Confused, Stan steps into the room, looking about, still wary, but perhaps not as much as previously. “The sound came from in here, right?”
