The Snow Family - Family Tree

Hi all! I wanted to summarize the Snow Family tree as it currently is [03/23/22].

Hopefully this will help guide you through the lore, and be a nice resource to reference along the way!

The Snow family currently consists of 20 children, most with spouses, and 17 grandchildren. Below, I will outline all of the children in the order of their birth:

3. The Snow Family - Vincente and Lioba

It’s been 50 years since Lioba left her mountain home in pursuit of her god given destiny. She arrived in her small apartment, joined a fitness club and a chef career, and for the first time in her life, met someone who sparked something within her which she had never felt before.

Vincente

Vincente’s traits are proper, family oriented and athletic. He grew up the one and only child, and has a dream to start a loving family of his own, and become incredibly fit.

When Vincente first met Lioba, he felt as though the entire world stopped around him. He had never felt so drawn to a person before - her gorgeous looks, her incredible way of speaking, and the way she laughed had a choke hold so tight, he thought he might actually choke. He fell absolutely head over heels in love with her. The two of them became invested in each other - making excuses to go the gym more, club meetups became more frequent, and carpooling became part of their daily life. After months of subtle courting, Lioba finally decided it was time to tell Vincente about her true self. Inviting him over to her home for a gourmet meal prepared by the very head chef herself.

As the night approached, Lioba grew wary of his reaction. She realized she has never been this close with any other individual before, and was worried about what he might do. Vincente on the other hand, as he raised his hand to knock on her door, realized he would do anything for her, and there was nothing that would change that. As she opened the door, the smell of deliciously prepared dinner engulfed Vincente. He greeted her and entered.

The two of them ate their meal, and as Lioba cleaned up the plates from the white kitchen table, she told Vincente that she hasn’t been entirely honest with him. They sit together on the white velvet love seat, in her apartment void of colour, and she confessed the truth behind her life. Her “birth”, the hiker, the god’s messages and rules, her past 50 years - she told him everything, and by the end she was crying. In that moment, she realized she had never been close enough with anyone to tell them these things. She felt relief, and braced for his reaction. Vincente sat in silence, hold Lioba as she cried, mind racing. He questioned so many things, but not once questioning if this was true - he knew it was, he didn’t know why, but he just knew. More than anything, he went over the scenarios in his mid - he didn’t dare toy with the idea of become immortal, but he grieved the idea of one day leaving Lioba behind, alone.

In this moment he turned to her. Comforted her and explained his feelings. And in one soft breath, asked Lioba her thoughts of having her first child with him. This took Lioba by surprise- in her 50 years of immortality, she never once thought about children yet. But the idea of giving Vincente a family warmed her heart. Vincente reassured her that it could be when she was ready, if it was something she wanted. He longed to spend his life with her, and the thought of walking separate paths broke him. He grew comforted that having a child together could draw a connection with one another.

Lioba turned to Vincente, wiped her tears and met his eyes with hers. How could she say no? He is the first person to make her feel something, and she couldn’t bear the thought of cursing him with immortality. But what about their child? Part of her wished to never spread her curse, to never have children. Her children would never be fully immortal like she is, but an extended life still carried the burden.

There was a long pause as the both looked at each other. Maybe it was the adrenaline, or it was their honeymooning love, but Lioba agreed. She gently touched his cheek, looked lovingly onto him, and asked to kiss him.

Thus, that night marked the beginning of The Snow Family Legacy. Later that week, Lioba found out she was pregnant with her first child.

2. The Snow Family - Lioba Snow

The Beginning

Lioba moved into a small apartment in San Myshuno. Deeply indebted to the gods for bestowing her power onto her, and hopeful if she appeased them they may bring back the hiker, she decorated the apartment in all white, dress in all white, and lived a colourless life. Unknowingly developing a cult, or cult like tendencies, she followed the strict rules the gods told her:

1. You must not marry, for your gift must not be shared any other way than through blood.

2. Have children, none from the same father/parent/mother. Have many.

3. Spread your teachings to your children, and to your children’s children.

4. Wear white, see no colour. White like the Snow which you were found in, and like the god given name Snow.

Following these rules out of fear and of debt, she began her new immortal life.

Lioba began by levelling up her cooking skill and entering the Chef career. Finding comfort in her food, she quickly climbed the career ladder. Her cooking, baking and gourmet cooking skills began developing. She lived alone, working and returning to develop her skills. Her life quickly became isolating and lonely. So, to break this cycle she began going to the gym. Working out became an outlet for her frustrations. She discovered a love for athletics, and began to frequent the gym. There, she was invited to join the Gym Rat social club. She joins them during their meetings and it is in this club where she meets Vincente. (Unfortunately due to the fact that this event happened 5 real-life years ago, his origin/ last name is lost)

1. The Snow Family - Backstory

Welcome to the background lore of my save file - this, along with the entire story line is constantly in flux and may change slightly as I play to fit my story line. Nothing in this story is set in stone and concrete, so if there are discrepancies in the plot, I apologize. I recommend reading the pinned point on my page before continuing. Thank you!

Lore:

Atop a bitter cold mountain, far from what we know of Mt. Komorebi, a hiker braved the treacherous climb in hopes to find the secret powers prophesied by the humble village below. The prophecies promised the one strong enough to reach the top infinite life, and power beyond anyone’s understanding.As they reached the top, the were confronted not with the powers of their god, but a small infant. Silent as the snow, and as fair as the stories of Snow White, the hiker scooped the child from her rock and granite cradle, and brought her down the mountains, Shocked at what they found, and fearing for the child’s health, she was returned to the village at the base of the mountain. The hiker searched for answers - why was she up there? How did she get there? Who left her there, and who did she belong to? But the hiker could not find the answers - the young baby shared no resemblance to the villagers, or to any other human the hiker had ever seen before - the infant was as fair as the snow, with hair to match, and eyes a soft hazel and bright as the full moon. Her features were unworldly .

Unable to find any answers, the hiker adopts the child and brings her to their home. They raised her as their own, just like any child. However, the child was different than the other children. Beyond her god-like beauty, her skills and intelligence were unlike any other. Excelling in everything she did, the child became the star of her adoptive parent’s life. The hiker, enamoured and endlessly proud of their daughters abilities and kindness, named her Lioba Snow, meaning “dear”. The Hiker’s “Dear” Snow continued to amaze, and eventually, she grew into a wonderful Young Adult. However, this aging up ceremony changed both their lives, forever.

On Lioba’s ‘coming of age’ birthday, as she aged into a Young Adult, a blinding, cold, white light illuminated her from her body, and time froze. A white, floral tattoo appeared on her right hand, and she heard a voice speak to her - a voice which was both booming and soft, strict and calm, and it engulfed her as it spoke:

“Dear Lioba Snow, how you have grown and bloomed. It is time for you to fulfill your true destiny. Inherit you true powers and fulfil your truest wishes and desires, for you are the chosen one.” In this moment, Lioba’s breath left her body and she saw the world - not just the mere present earth, but the past, the future and all memories the gods above. In that moment, Lioba inherited the gods’ will. Lioba was no longer the child raised by the hiker, but the single embodiment of the gods above. Overwhelmed with her new knowledge of the world, Lioba thrashed out with her limbs, breaking free of the light and returned to the hiker’s home. She explained to her elderly parent what she had seen, and vocalized her new powers - the prophesied powers the hiker had searched for all along: the power of immortality. But not just that, the power to bestow semi-immortality onto those who she marries or births.

The hiker smiles. They did find the prophecy, and their elderly bones relaxed. Lioba did her best to return the hiker’s life, but was unable. Devastated by the death of her parent, and with her new life, she departs on a journey. A journey to find happiness, love, lust, skill, success and family. With infinity at her door step, she begins her journey.

Lioba Snow - The Matriarch Immortal Mother

Lioba is the original, main sim in the Snow family. She was made using a base found in the online character gallery (I will try to find the creator and link them below).

Blessed with immortality, and the ability to share semi-immortality to those she marries and births, Lioba’s age is unknown. She is as fair as snow, and has the Snow family crest tattoo on her right hand - the symbol of her status as immortal. She never ages and never dies. Often dressed in white or pastels, she honours her name given to her by the hiker, and her powers gifted to her by the gods.

Her goal: Create a long, successful lineage of semi-immortal family, and master every skill and career possible. Live her life in every possible way.

Preface - Please Read

Hello! To those who may be reading this, I welcome you to my Sims 4 Story. To begin, I’d like to provide you some brief backstory before diving into the lore…

1. This is my own personal save file - I’ve had this file for around 5ish years (unable to pinpoint exact date unfortunately) so this is something that has developed overtime, very organically. I didn’t start this save with the idea of sharing it publicly, however the way things turned out, I figured this may be a fun project for me to document here, both for my own reference and your entertainment.

2. Everything that happens in this save is completely for fun and made up - in no way to I condone my sims actions. Everything written is fictional and fake.

3. I don’t think I will update frequently, but I will do it enough that I keep track of everyone consistently, so if you have to wait for updates, I apologize!

4. I am not a fictional writer - IRL I am an academic with a Master’s degree, so this is something new to me and I thank you for your patience as I learn to write for fun.

5. As I mentioned above, this save is really old - therefore, most of the entires will not have accompanying images for the fathers/mothers/parents and or childhood photos - I may fill these missing images with manufactured ones, but I do not have any of the old images since this save file has transferred between 4 different computers.

6.This series does and will continue to contain content related to the LGBTQIA+ community such as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual, polygamy, and more. If any of these things make you uncomfortable/ you do not support the community, please find somewhere else to enjoy Sims4 continent - this is a safe space for all LGBTQIA+ community members. I myself identify as a cis gender, queer/lesbian woman, and I will not tolerate hate speech or bigotry.

8. Lioba’s base sim named “Sasha Snow” was created by SweetSimPenny 01/28/18. I did not create her, just customized her. 

9. Eventually all of my used CC and mod will be list and available for download - this will take a very long time to organize so please be patient!
