Princess Theodora Norwood was born at the Windenburg Royal Castle, the first child and eldest daughter of Queen Juliette Norwood of Windenburg and King Consort Frederick Norwood. From her earliest breath she was surrounded by love and expectation. As the firstborn she received the title Princess Royal, a distinction that marked her future from the start. Her childhood was defined by structure, lineage, and purpose. Her mother believed that a future queen should be polished not pampered, and Theodora was educated in court etiquette, diplomacy, and public service before she could even read.

At a young age, Theodora was sent to boarding school, where she adapted quickly to academic rigor and strict schedules. She excelled in history, literature, and foreign languages, and showed a natural skill in mediation. While other children struggled with the demands of noble life, Theodora carried herself with a calm authority beyond her years. Everything in her upbringing was designed to prepare her for rulership, regardless of where that destiny led.

When Theodora reached adolescence Queen Juliette arranged a marriage contract between her daughter and Prince Victor Waverly, heir to the throne of Henford on Bagley. The agreement secured a political alliance between two powerful houses and ensured continued peace and influence across both kingdoms. Theodora, trained to accept duty far before she understood romance, agreed without resistance. With dignity and obedience she left her childhood home and moved to the Henford on Bagley Royal Castle to complete her formal education there.

During her residency at the castle Theodora studied the Waverly culture, customs, and language. She learned their agricultural traditions, their devotion to community, and the ancestral legacy tied to the kingdom. Prince Victor remained polite and respectful, though distant. Their relationship was not born of passion but of arrangement, yet mutual respect grew between them. When the pair came of age they married in a grand ceremony witnessed by nobles across the realm. Shortly after their wedding tragedy struck. Queen Vivienne Waverly passed away, leaving a grieving kingdom behind. Prince Victor ascended the throne as King Victor Waverly, and Theodora became Queen Consort of Henford on Bagley.

Though there is no romantic love between them Theodora respects Victor deeply. She admires his discipline, his sense of duty, and his commitment to protecting their kingdom. She serves diligently as Queen Consort, fulfilling her diplomatic responsibilities with grace and loyalty.

Theodora soon gave birth to their first child and heir Prince Edgar Waverly. Becoming a mother awakened a deeper softness in her, a part untouched by political duty. A few years later she welcomed her second child, Princess Vivienne II Waverly, named in honor of Victor’s late mother. After the death of her own mother Queen Juliette, Theodora made a difficult choice and sent Edgar to boarding school once he reached childhood, hoping he would receive the same discipline and foundation that shaped her. It was a choice rooted in duty, not distance, though it weighed heavily on her heart.

Queen Theodora Waverly is remembered not only for her elegance but for her steadiness. She understands the crown is not about love, but about leadership. A child raised for duty. A woman shaped by expectation. A queen defined by quiet strength.

KAORI NISHIDAKE as snowboard doll

This was my entry for the #RDDOLLBOXCHALLENGE hosted by @rd.ptra on Instagram a while ago. Kaori is a teen living in My. Komorebi with her grandparents, after losing her own parents. Legend says their family are the sacred guardians of the mountain. Kaori loves spending her days riding down the slopes, and she has a big crush on Kiyoshi Ito - the son of her grandfathers sworn enemy. Included in the box: Kaori doll with full snowboard gear, two extra pairs of shoes, hooded jacket, baseball cap, water bottle, award ribbon and trophy, extra mini Yamachan doll and more... I had so much fun creating this, many thanks to the host for this fun and creative challenge!
