FEAR&DELIGHT: Do You Find Comfort in the Disturbed?

Do you like people with their own strange quirks and habits?

Well, we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, right?

People do have different taste!

You are a baker who owns a small bakery on the outskirts of Malloricayce, a low-populated town that doesn't have any interesting things going on. You are tasked with delivering your delightful creations to the locals until a certain someone's creation is delivered to you.

It's up to you to solve the mystery of The Thing in your humble abode... And so the strange residents...

Hi! I'm not too well-versed in making games and even finishing them in the end. I suppose by me starting a devlog blog would motivate me more so i could finish this! :D

Game will include:

3 dateable characters

4 characters (Roy Prescott, Aidan Rizal, Lionel Ilves, The Thing)

multiple endings (estimation: 10 endings)

weird and dumb humor

references to movies/shows (probably games)

probably few rendered scenes (pray that i won't disintegrate into dust)

expressive and colored sprites!!!!

I'll try give updates to this game at least once a week so i wouldn't procrastinate and to inform people that i am still alive. Really nervous about this.

Fear&Delight: Maybe you loved him too much

Prescott is not too sure if you came here for a dental checkup.... or his other job in the basement....

imo i think he would not appreciate it when you came up to him with full blast love smacking his face. i like to think he's pretty anxious with trust issues, given the line of his second job (don't ask him what it is- he would pull your teeth out deliberately).

I'm not sure if I'm ok with this design of him? At least he looks like a fancy chap (he hasn't showered for a week).

Fear&Delight: WIP Lionel Ilves (The Client)

Meet Lionel, a travelling pianist without a care for the world with his trusty piano on wheels! A selfish prick, a conniving weirdo, arrogant bastard, manipulative asshole -- you get the gist! He's everything you want in a freak! Although, if you wanna kiss him... just be prepared when you find out what he has been eating. Raw meat can't go wrong, right? Except it came from a questionable source.

If i want to describe his personality..... well, he would laugh at you if a car ran over you. His humor is fucked up. It would be ok if it's still funny but no, his jokes are terrible and bad. Lionel smiles a lot too which is hard to distinguish his emotions apart.

He actually had a travelling music partner... I wonder what happened to him?

Fear&Delight: WIP Aidan Rizal (The Officer)

Meet Aidan Rizal! Your friendly neighbourhood officer, who would watch you from afar-- for safety reasons of course. He's the kind of guy who would distanced himself from you (literally) because of something he wouldn't explain to you. Freak. Also, I think he doesn't know any boundaries or have a personal space unless you spelled it out to him. Despite his strange quirks, he's actually quite nice and kind, just not how you expected it to be.

ROY PRESCOTT WIP (THE DENTIST)

hiya! I'm new to this whole blog schtick and I'm not sure what to do with it but we ball. I've been thinking about making a visual novel for awhile and maybe work myself out from my cave to be more motivated these days! Currently, I've already came up with 4 characters, with their own unique quirks (and weird habits). Can't wait to see where this production would go since I am pretty dumb myself in making a game. Oh and meet Roy Prescott!

I planned him to be your average dentist who owns a dental clinic, but with a twist (literally any suspense storyline). He's a sweet tooth too! I already finalized the whole storyline but I'm afraid it won't be good enough. I'll post the other characters soon! In the meantime, you could ask me anything about Roy Prescott or the premise of the game :3
