Hello citizens,
Sorry for being away for such an extended period of time, but I'm back now that summer vacation has begun! Some way to spend a vacation though ;) Anyway it's good to be back and hopefully some kind souls will fill me in on what's been happening in the Otherworld. RP ya soon! -LG
*bites his lip and lurches into the hospital, looking around* Eileen? *calls out, holding an arm tight against his stomach* Hello? Is there anyone here?
Lisa hears a voice shout in the distance. She stumbles out of her chair and runs to the source of the shout. As she turns down the hall she sees a distraught man grasping his abdomen. She keeps her distance from the stranger just in case his intentions differ from hers.
"Hey!" Lisa shouts. "Are you alright? Do you need some assistance, sir?"
She steps closer to him to hear if he murmurs the response.
Is there anyone out there?
Countless days have passed and the loneliness was sinking within Lisa. She walked around the streets of Silent Hill searching for anyone that needed help, but the streets were abandoned. Despite the situation of the town there always seemed to be a lost soul wandering the streets searching for someone or something, but this time was different. The abandoned town was abandoned. As the sun was setting on another day, Lisa made her way back to Alchemilla, the only place she felt safe and the only place she knew people would go if they were in trouble. She opened the large double doors and made her way to her sanctuary, the Nurses Station.
She awoke the next day and began her journey on the streets of Silent Hill, only this time would be different. She saw a figure in the distance but the fog was to thick to make out its shape and, more importantly, whether it was human or not. Her heart pumped in fear and excitement as she approached the figure.
“I— I can’t call Mother. Not now.” He looked up at Lisa, his eyes shining wetly in the lights. He sniffed once, then turned his face back to the ground, much more quiet when he spoke again. “Could I wait here… for another bus? Please?”
Lisa brought Walter’s head to her abdomen in order to comfort him.
“Of course you can, sweety.” Lisa could tell that Walter was scared so she tried her best in order to make him feel safe. Deep down, however, Lisa feared she could not protect him if the darkness were to come back. She tried to shake off that feeling and looked down at him again. ”Are you hungry?” She asked.
Walter squirmed slightly as Lisa hugged him. He wasn’t used to adults doing that… he wasn’t really used to anyone doing that. It was comforting, but also strange. He couldn’t make up his mind about how he felt about it. And even though she had said that he could stay there for a while… he still felt anxious.
“Mm… no, not hungry.” He murmured the words into the soft fabric of her sweater.
"Well you let me know when you are and I'll scavenge for food." Lisa winked at him. There was dead silence between the two, Lisa scrambled to think of something to say in order to break the awkward silence.
"So....uh, Walter, how old are you anyway?" As she said this her stomach led out a roar. She put her hands against her stomach to silence the sound and blushed slightly.
"Oops! I guess I'm the hungry one!" Lisa cracks a smile trying to make the little boy laugh.
Lisa backed away from Sewell in order to take his words in. After a brief moment she realized that maybe Sewell’s heart was in the right place. Maybe she was too weak to survive both the monsters in Silent Hill and the monster Sewell is hunting.
Lisa looked into his eyes. “I understand, Officer. The last I saw him he was heading to the docks to go to the Penitentiary.” Lisa reaches into her pocket and pulls out a health pack. “Here take this, just in case.” She puts the health pack into his hand and gives him a half smile. “Be safe out there, okay? And promise me you will come back to let me know you survived?” A tear that she was holding in finally became to strong and rolled down her cold cheek. She reached up to wipe it away hoping Sewell hadn’t seen it.
Sewell accepted her gift, tucking it away quietly. He nodded in affirmation before he looked up, noticing that she had shed a tear.
“Don’t worry, Lisa.” He offered her what he hoped was a sincere smile. Sewell had never really felt comfortable around crying people. “I’ll be back before long. Thanks for your help.” He touched her arm gently, squeezing it in reassurance before turning to leave.
As Sewell left Lisa alone she said under her breath, "God speed, Officer." She then looked at the ground, kicked up some debris then turned around. She began to walk. She didn't know where to but she just wanted to get away. Lisa was a faint figure in the distance before disappearing into the fog of Silent Hill.
Sewell’s eyes widened for a second, then his expression turned deadly serious. “Yeah, I know him. Murphy Pendleton.” He leaned in closer to Lisa, his voice dropping to keep their conversation private.
“Listen, Lisa… you should stay away from that man. He’s an escaped convict, and he’s very dangerous. I’m sure a kind soul like you wants to help everyone, but you just can’t help a man like that.” Sewell paused to let the gravity of the situation sink in. “Can you tell me where you last saw him? A guy like that can’t be left to wander the streets.”
Lisa’s once rosy cheeks now appeared like someone had sucked the life out of them. She takes a step away from Sewell.
“Oh God. How could have I been so foolish?” She turns around and looks at the ground, not to hide her foolishness but to hide from the inevitable departure of Sewell. She knew once Sewell knew of Murphy’s location he would leave her just like the others.
She turns around and looks deep into the eyes of a man on a mission. “If I tell you where I last saw Murphy, will you promise to take me with you? I know it isn’t safe but I’d feel more safe with you.” She notices Sewell look down on her as if she really is foolish.
“I know you think I can’t handle this but I’ve seen a lot in my life, and I can help you.” Trying to liven up the mood she points at her hat. “I am a nurse after all.”
Sewell stared back at Lisa, his expression still serious and withdrawn. He looked as though he was considering something. After a few moments, he finally cracked a smile, sighing in resignation.
“I’m sure you’re a great nurse… and I understand you want to help. Everyone wants to try and fix things when they’ve made a mistake, huh? I think that’s just part of human nature.” He licked his lips and hooked his fingers into his belt. “But it would be stupid of me to try and bring you along. Putting someone like you in harm’s way?” Sewell watched her expressions, trying to look as sincere as possible as he said the next few words. “I can’t do it.”

“Do you want to call your parents? I’m sure they are as nervous as you are. I mean I would be if my kid wasn’t home on time.”

Even though Alchemilla has shut down indefinitely, Lisa still wore her nurses hat as a sign to all whom cross her path that help is available. Although, deep down, Lisa wanted to be saved herself.
“Well hello Walter! Despite what happened, you’re in luck!” She smiles and points at her hat. “I happen to be quite good with kids!” She rubs his head, messing up hair.
“Now then.” She stands up and offers her hand to Walter. “Why don’t we go inside before I lose you in this fog.”

Lisa’s cheeks turned bright red. Embarrassed by the mistaken identity, she tries to strike up a conversation, “The name is Lisa, Lisa Garland.” She begins to fidget as if she has something to hide. “Yeah…We definitely need a new wardrobe.” Lisa notices that Officer Sewell’s uniform differs from the ones found in Silent Hill. “W-Where do you work?”

Sewell looked down as he noticed Lisa looking at his uniform, straightening his badge with one gloved hand. “Well, your clothes are definitely nicer than mine.” He laughed and smiled again, but the smile didn’t quite reach his eyes. “It’s nice to meet you, Lisa. I work at Ryall State Corrections Facility… It’s a prison. Not that I would expect a sweet nurse like you to know anything about prisons.”
Lisa's blush deepened. She felt safe around Sewell, not because of his uniform rather his presence was comforting. "Ryall State..." She said under her breath. The name sounded familiar and she tried her best to remember then it hit her. "You wouldn't happen to know a-what was his name again? M-m-m-Murphy?" Today, I begin my first day as trainee at Alchemilla and I feel so nervous yet excited because instead of being in Alchemilla I'm a part of it. I make my way to the Nurses Station to get my first task; even though I am excited I, for some reason, have an uneasy feeling about being here. As I am sitting in the Nurses Station I see my boss Dr. Michael Kaufmann enter. He always looks like he has some sort of secret agenda that he must conceal from the others, and I like that about him.
